Popped in here absolutely starving and pretty overheated with two big dogs in tow. We'd seen the reviews and thought it was worth a try - it certainly was! The staff were lovely and very welcoming, checking there was enough water for the dogs and making a right fuss of them. There was a good range of food on offer, from breakfast to salads and sandwiches to heartier offerings like burgers, and with plenty of vegetarian options to choose from too. I went for a spicy beanburger and my other half had a Mexican burger, followed by ice cream shakes (with an absolute tonne of ice cream in them!). The burgers were fab: well presented, with plenty of good quality salad, top-notch salsa and guacamole, and really great chips. The pricing was reasonable for the size of the portions, the place was clean and tidy and doing a good trade, there's free parking right across the road, and dogs are allowed both inside and out. My only slight criticism would be that there were no parasols on the outdoor tables for shade, but in fairness, we opted to be outside to avoid other dogs, as one of ours isn't keen on small yappy things... All in all, well worth a stop, and won't break the bank. Recommended!

Went in here yesterday for some food lunchtime, lovely view, nice set out cafe... but that's as good as it gets I'm afraid. I ordered jacket potato and red pesto chicken mayo with salad... ive never had a jacket potato so dry in all my life, cold and not 1 bit of butter nor any with it, the potato had quite obviously being heated in the microwave for about 30 seconds I would say, the amount of chicken it came with was beyond a joke... 4 tiny pieces and the plate filled out with salad (which actually was ok)... I asked the young girl for some salad cream and they didn't have any, she didn't offer anything different or seem bothered at all and just worked off. It seemed understaffed in there and everything was rushed..could be a really decent place but I felt very let down. On a brighter note, the coffee, the tiffin and flapjacks are very good... I'm guessing maybe bought in after the main?!?! But either way they were good, the woman that served me with the glasses and blonde hair was also very polite and welcoming. Overall it's just the poor, half warmed up food that let it down... them little bits will go a long way.

A wonderful restoration of the original Café! With breathtaking views, whatever the weather, this is a real treat, and a great way to spend the morning or afternoon, whilst watching the waves. Friendly, helpful staff, and a good selection of toasties, baked potatoes and Granola bowl (great start to the day) The Vegan pasty is probably one of the best I have ever eaten! The coffee is good, and all at a good price. For this view, you really can't get it any better! We will be back! Thanks guys!

The worst restaurant I ever go. I asked for a Caesar salad and a coke. I paid for them. Then I needed to wait for the salad, but not for the drink. They gove me an already opened bottle and a glass without ice or lemon. I asked for bought, but they never serve drinks with ice and lemon. I bring by myself the glass and the coke to my table. I noticed the table was sticky. I tried to call the waitress, but I needed 5 minutes to have her attention. On that time I notice as well that my glass was dirty, so when she came to ask why I called her, I asked her to clean the table and a new clean glass. Alter a while, she come with a new glass and she cleaned the table. She moved over the table a wet cloth, but it was just water and the table was still sticky. When she was left, I noticed that the new glass was also dirty. I wanted to go of the place, but I already paid my meal, so I went to the toilet with the glass and I cleaned it by myself with soap. I finished my meal, it was OK. But it was an awfull experience. Dirty after clean, bad service. I don't know why it...
