Came here for carvery Sunday lunch the cauliflower cheese was best ever had, and Sunday dinner was lovely it was 🦃 turkey, and 🍖 beef. It had carrots, broccoli, cabbage, stuffing roast potatoes, and mash, and carrot l, and sweed which was nice which we love. The beer garden see through the patio looks nice it's lovely warm day. From all that rain had yesterday this month be glad see the back of it. Warm but windy so still not short weather. Went on here to view the rooms sat in the bar because had the dog no dogs in the lounge the lounge looked nice, and another bar area in other room had to go through two doors to get in back room of the lounge to the carvery.

Twenty anglers from near Stafford spent 3 days at the Severn Arms Hotel, October 13th, 14th and 15th October (2017) and a great time was had by all. The rooms were good, as was the beer and the food, we were well looked after by George, Carol and son Cole. Special thanks to Shaun the Chef for some really lovely food, how he coped with 20 of us all at the same time I just don't know. We will be back! Oh! nearly forgot, the fishing in the Ithon was very good.

Came here for food and was honestly quite dissapointed, I don't often find myself dissapointed by food, I have very simple tastes. My lagane was dry, small, fairly bland and clearly not fresh. The steak my partner had was absolutely full of grissle and overcooked. Service was very polite though.

We visited overnight whilst seeing family locally, from the moment we walked in the landlord John looked after our every need with a friendly and helpfull manner, our rooms were prepared and shown to us personally, the kids were not only welcomed, but encouraged to roam and play freely, which they did in the large and well kept gardens. The bar staff were nice and looked after us very well, nothing was too much trouble and he even drove to the local town to make sure I had fresh locally produced black pudding for my breakfast in the morning! Our food was well made fresh local produce and I would not only stay here whenever we visited the area but I would also happily recommend it to anyone wishing to eat, drink or stay here. It was such a refreshing surprise to stay in the Severn arms and it feel like my local pub, and a friend's house! and so comfortable for my whole family that my 6 year old and 13 year old had no reservations in roaming freely and asking John for anything which he and his staff happily provided. The customers we spoke to during our stay were friendly and approachable, again, I am sure, due to the respect they have for all the staff in the Severn arms. Thank you all from the...

We enjoyed a relaxed lunch/ afternoon at the Severn Arms. A great choice of beers and ciders available all at really reasonable prices. The service was warm and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome on a hot Thursday afternoon.

We enjoyed the curry from the specials board. Very tasty, fresh and piping hot. Really nice to get the half and half mix of chips and rice, and a good portion size too.

Other plates coming out also looked delicious, large and fresh too (we all went for the curry!)

The garden was beautiful with a choice of seating (on the terrace) if you are eating or further down/closer to the river if not. We would definitely recommend and will return again when in...
