Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

I came to this starbucks last saturday, after a very stressful day. It was my first time at this starbucks and i will be a regular! Although the staff was highly stressed with a huge queue, all staff greeted me with a smile! I placed my order and was informed there was a wait and they were sorry for the wait and explained they had trainees in. But you could never had tell! Everyone was professional and working as quick as they could with the drive through and cafe orders. And despite being at a busy time i was still greeted with a smile. And after being given my drink it has quietened down a bit and i had a conversation with a staff member who apologised for the wait and explained that she and another few team members were new. The staff was so kind and still put customers first! I returned tuesday to do some work and the environment warms my heart. Visited this store today and the staffs' attitude is completely disgusting. None of them were friendly and looked like they couldn't be bothered- more concerned with gossiping amongst themselves. One of the drinks in my order was a toasted marshmallow hot chocolate, which I WATCHED a staff member pour an already-used one into the cup and give it to me. This wouldn't have been a problem, if the flavoured syrup was actually in there and if the drink was actually hot and filled the cup more than the cream. I asked the member of staff if she could make it again as it didn't taste right. I was met by a grumpy face and no apology, just a replacement shoved into my hand. The last straw was the disabled toilets- my friend is a wheelchair user and when she entered the disabled toilet, it hadn't been checked for a while, let alone been cleaned recently. 5 stars for our experience in the Starbucks while we were there. £100 PARKING FINE unfortunately makes it lose 2 stars from the review. We parked over 2 hours in their lot as we had some work to do on our laptops and thought Starbucks would be the appropriate place to do this. Now have to apparently pay a £60 fine jumps up to £100 if not paid within the first 14 days. We saw no signs indicating ANY time limit to parking in the Starbucks lot. Letter we received in the mail claimed the Starbucks parking area is a part of the larger Waterton Retail Park. I don't know if there are parking signs in the larger car park area, but there aren't any in the small Starbucks lot. So, while we had a good experience in the Starbucks itself, it wasn't worth the surprise £100 fine. Hope this is helpful to...
