Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

The shop itself is nice and modern however coffee fans beware if your in a rush dont bother! Last time i was there waited at the drive through station to be ignored got told by an off duty barrista to just drive around so i did to be ignored until i got asked what my order was... you didnt bleeding take it so 25 mins later finally get the singular frap that was eventually ordered and the visit previously myself and wife went in and whilst waiting we looked at getting a snack, on closer look we saw fruit flys all over the lemon muffins and were instantly put off and noticed that the doors to the display cabinet where they keep the food items had been left open, we then placed our order (caramel machitto and a iced caramel latte with an extra pump of caramel) to wait 15 minutes for half of the order and have to wait another 10 minuets for my wife’s drink as they decided to serve someone through the drive through without completing our order (either do one or the other? And if the staff cant cope with demand employ more staff!) there have been many times we have visited and there are only 3 staff on and people waiting long times for their orders and we have now decided not to use this establishment anymore due to the long waits, frequent mixed up of orders and paying for extra pumps of flavours and the staff not adding them and having to go back for them to add it in and staff acting inappropriately in a work setting talking and laughing and joking about things that shouldn’t be heard by customers. The one good point about the establishment at Pencoed is a young guy there called Ryan, every time we have gone with all these things going wrong he has always provided excellent customer service, always apologised over and over for mistakes made (not by himself) and have observed him use his initiative to help other staff members out when things are busy there among many more things. With myself and wife both having experience in customer service we feel like that branch should be great full for Ryan and to have such a good member of staff working for them and feel he is a role model for the other young staff members there that are laughing, joking and messing around whilst...

Easily accessible off the M4. Good service and coffee. A place for burgers across the road. What more do you need. It is important that consistency is maintained to retain customers not only for individual outlets but to ensure you can visit other outlets and get the "same" drink. Pencoed has always given me the "same" drink. Quality. Good coffee experience still exists. It us difficult to differentiate between 'Bucks' outlets this one tries hard and succeeds on many levels. It is a mark of high regard when you get a welcome such as I get at Pencoed Starbucks. Staff may change but the baton is obviously passed from old to new. Staff turnover has increased recently maybe the pay is n't great. Still great service and coffee so the standards...

I went through the drive thru and place my order. Everyone was really helpful. However upon driving away I noticed that my drink was the incorrect one, but also contained milk. I have a dairy allergen.

I drove back to the store explained that I hate complaining, but being served a dairy drink would affect me severely.

The male called Ieuan was ever so attentive to my concern he couldn’t of handled the situation better.

Then Emma the girl who finished my drink re made it as quick as she could, again was so apologetic towards me.

The staff were absolutely amazing dealing with my concern.
