Visited end of Aug 22 and bought a tea. Took quite some time to be made, couldn't work out why it took so long. When I got back to my car and tasted it it was cold. It also looked like dish water. The young girl made me another one and it was then I realised why it was so bad. The tea bag was of such poor quality she was trying to get it to brew - I'm not sure there was much tea in the bag! The water wasn't hot to start with evidenced by the scum/fur you get when water not boiled. Threw it away. Wouldn't use again. Waste of £2. If you can't get a cup of tea right...
Read moreNot the best...shame really as the location they have it could be a gold mine..."as seen on tv" written on the side...I could only assume was kitchen nightmares 😳. Purchased 2 bacon rolls and my son took one bite and chucked it...and considering he'd eat anything it was a surprise. Stale rolls...pre cooked cold bacon...couldn't even spread the butter out it was in one pile in the middle. I would avoid. But like I said what a shame due to its location. I should have realised though as there was around 200 cars there on this day and not one person...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic little place located right next to the main path up to Pen y Fan. The food was very cheap and fantastic (especially after a long hike!) The owner Denise and her daughter Ffiona were super friendly and full of amazing stories from 32 years of running the business. They even gave my friend and I a lift back to Merthyr Tydfil so we didn't have to wait an hour and a half for the bus!
