That Doughnut Place — Restaurant in Wales

Well well well, where do I start?

The delivery, customer service the presentation or the actual doughnuts themselves? (All of them 5*s btw)

These doughnuts are the freakin’ best load of deliciousness to have ever graced my taste buds.

After ordering on a Sunday with my wife (my cheat day) I was able to devour 7 of these sugar/chocolate/glaze coated rings of heaven.

The delivery was swift and delivered by the owner, it’s great to be supporting small businesses during this time!

We ordered the Dipping Box & the weeks special selection. That week it had Nutella Lovers Dream, Lotus Biscoff One, Oreo fritter & some sort of Raspberry one. Honestly, these were the freshest, doughnuts I have ever tasted. Even to the point where we shared the last one two days after delivery popped it in the microwave for 5s... oh my days, it was if it had just come out of the fryer!

My favourite was probably the Nutella one.

Absolutely lovely doughnuts and shakes. The shop is easy to find with parking along the street or round the back of the coop opposite.

Very clean inside with a ramp for disabled access and plenty of seating.

A bright menu and big display of all the wonderful treats for sale.

We Love the confectioners, shakes and hot/cold drinks available. Big portions and reasonably prices make it worth vist and we come from Merthyr. To share or eat alone theres a box of 10 "mini" doughnuts with a dipping sauce or a very large fritter.

Drinks are also great vaule, well made and delicious. I will say the iced matcha latte was very mid, but that's the same everywhere around the valleys.

Staff are always friendly and helpful even at busier times. I highly recommend a visit to cure anyone's sweet tooth 😋 10/10

I haven't been in the sights...

Absolutely amazing place. A true gem and you'd usually only get this quality of Doughnut in major cities or America! I would argue that these doughnuts could go up against any out there and come out on top. Great selection and the ability to pre-order to secure the ones you want is awesome (as I travel 25 minutes to get there, so never disappointed) The staff are really friendly and engaging. The shop is small but they are moving to a larger place soon for sit down enjoyment of your doughnuts! can't wait! Parking isn't great, but be patient and courteous to local residents. Find somewhere suitable to park even if you have to walk a little to get to the shop-it will...
