Opened in May 2018, this little cafe is situated overlooking the runway at Welshpool Mid Wales Airport. There are two indoor spaces available and plenty of outdoor seating on the decking by the runway. The prices are very reasonable, the food and drink quality is good. The staff are welcoming, friendly and informative, and the place also sells local herbs and locally sourced food items, and much more. They charge 25p extra each for crispy bacon which I thought was one of the most bizarre charges I’ve ever heard. There is not much difference in the coffee sizes. You’re basically paying for more hot water. The breakfast portion was small. The server was pleasant but the cook was a bit miserable.
