Adjacent to the hotel,I haven’t been here for 3 years and I remember being quite impressed with the gluten free section they had in the buffet ,gluten free toast and everything.still 3 years later the gluten free section is impressive and there is a bar adjacent on site,the waitress who greeted us and took the order was great and she was the same one we had before and she is still great !!!we had a few other servers.the breakfast was great however this is in the incorrect location on the maps it’s adjacent to the hotel down the road not the mines.but I wish I could do this everey Monday morning to be honest but it does get very busy even at 7am on a...

Christmas Day Dinner (£80pp), the overall experience was slightly lacking. I would really like to give an extra half star (3 1\2 out of 5)

While the main meal itself was of excellent taste, I'm afraid that it was cold only to be warmed by the additional gravy.

The service seemed slightly 'stretched' as our wait between courses was slightly long. But saying that, the staff were jolly, helpful and polite.

The restaurant was pleasant but was cold with a draft from the main door.

Saying all of this. I would, and probably will, try another meal, maybe in the summer,...

Dont bother booking here unless you want cold soup only 2 of our party got a plate with roll with the soup everone else just got a soup bowl 1 was served with a long black hair in it. No main meal because after nearly 2 hours still not served and I had to sit by a bucket catching water dripping from ceiling.
