Came here for Sunday roast, the price for what you get is far to much. I would say the roast is definitely overpriced, the potatoes were under done and the stuffing cheaply made with no flavor probably just a water mix gravy was okay. Veg was perfect as was the Yorkshire pudding although they are a pound extra just to have one. It was around 70 quid for me the wife and kids before drinks. Bare in mind this not carvary so I was expecting fresh and flavorful. All in all ok but not worth the price. Staff were friendly enough though.

Wow what can I say my partner an I stumbled over this gem of a place, from our trip out. We where looking for a place to eat an so we found this Fab place. 1st impressions a good big outdoor space at the front to enjoy the weather ( when it arrives) 😀 Fab seating too.. At the bar we where greated by a lovely warm smile, bubbly Pauline Lovely place to relax an enjoy with or without friends an family. Oh and dog friendly too. We where asked before we ordered if there where any dietary requirements. We ordered the 2 course meal today's soup was the most amazing vegetable soup i have tasted. Little blip it was a tad cold, but within a few minutes there was a hot soup back with me( fresh). My partner order pate on toast which was yummy. The Sunday roast wow wow wow fresh tasty an served hot. It is amazing. The roast potatoes crispy an fluffy 😋 the best All the staff in the marine where lovely pleasant welcoming an excellent atmosphere 😀. You would be silly to drive passed this place without enjoying an tasting there food... It is wheelchair friendly too as there have big double doors on entrance. defo come again. Well done Pauline...

This pub feels like a proper pub. Music at the weekend, friendly staff, friendly locals and tasty eats.

There was an okay selection beers and sprits. Nothing fancy but more than ample for a good time. If you're getting fed up of all your old favorite watering holes getting turned into cringe worthy clones all trying to serve overly hopped IPAs then this place is worth a visit. It seems to be a proper local institution!

Rooms are clean, well kept and large enough. Not all of the rooms are en-suite but if you're just looking for somewhere to crash who cares. Even with music downstairs it didn't seem to be heard in the rooms too much.

Not sure what the whole nautical theme is about though? It's never really explained and it's not like the pub is next to the dock or something. I did like the little nautical trinkets around the place though. It gave...

I had booked I here for the 31st October 2015 for one night. I had seen the rooms online and they looked lovely . However when we arrived it was late at night the room was. Absolutely filthy the bedding was stained it was a shard toilet which again was disgusting, we didn't know where the showers where as there was no staff to help us in the morning, we didn't get a breakfast as there was no staff only a cleaner who informed us that they don't do breakfast until after nine, we couldn't even get a up of tea as there was no where to make one, as there was only enough for two cups of tea, coffee in the the bedroom , Wouldn't ever...
