The Old Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Wales

Poor - went to grab bacon and egg when passing for me and my 8year old, i asked for no butter and it they could cut the fat off bacon for my girl. They totally ignored instructions but toasted the buttered roll to camouflage the butter, basically hard bread, slightly hard bacon as if it were cooked earlier on. Egg was perfect but its not exactly difficult considering so £7 for 2 eggs rolls, id be embarrassed, i wish id eaten in and not takeaway just so i could have embarrassed your staff in front of your customers. As the other reviewers say, food is always excellent - beautifully cooked and on time, people are friendly, atmosphere is cosy (wood burning stove at this time of year!) We particularly like the black pudding and I quizzed the chef about it. He cooks it in the oven! And this is the only place where we've found the hash browns cooked through...

Telephoned through my order to be collected, waited over an hour when we were told to pick it up in 20 minutes. The size of the breakfast laughable for the price we paid, hard cold beans, half cooked black pudding which I paid extra for, sausages were pork & leak which was not stated over the phone when ordering - colleague is severely allergic to onions.
