The Stag — Restaurant in Wales

Staff were very polite and friendly when we arrived. We ordered our food but when it arrived there were missing items and when we reminded them we were then told that they had run out one of these changes if we had been told before food it would have 100% altered one of the meals. Meal. In question was steak with Diane sauce, (diane sauce was not available).

We then waited for a lengthy period after finishing our meal even stacked plates in the middle of the table to show we had finished and waiting to order disserts. Eventually I left the table and stopped a member of staff and said we would like to order desserts so she then came to the table to take our order.

Desserts got ordered wrongly and spoons for the children's ice cream was neglected and to top it off we were left surrounded by dishes from our main meals whilst eating dessert.

I would have accepted this more if the place had been busy but there was hardly...

We have just had a really tasty, fulsome brunch in the newly reopened Stag. This pub, in the heart of the village of Five Roads was reopened by the new landlords, Matthew and Donna, just a few weeks ago, and it is a pleasure to meet people who are so eager to succeed for the sake of the community and their customers. As to the food, four of us had the 'Doe Breakfast' - traditional fare using quality ingredients, which had all been freshly-cooked to order, with gluten-free provision made for one of us. Food was fantastic apart from where the cavery is situated they have blocked off the corridor to set the cavery up so small area so we was knocking and elbowing other customers while other customers where queuing in your way for sauces this cavery would be much better put in the corner near the front of the building making that table of 4 somewhere else and have access better for customers to use the toilets that way you don't have to wait over half a hour to be called up for your food felt like your back in school being told when you can have your food but food was delicious when...
