Absolutely awful experience! Booked here for Mothers Day. We were booked for 1.30 at 1.40 we asked how long it would be before we could be seated. Told half hour or so followed up by you can have my table as I’d rather be somewhere else. We soon discovered that the owners family were having lunch there rather than free up tables for their booked guests! No remorse no apologies and quite frankly staff who couldn’t care less. Fancied a pint on Sunday afternoon, and we were passing, so popped in. The only beer on was an ipa, two largers, or bottled cider, we chose our drinks and sat in the beer garden, and it was very unpleasant, dirt on the tables, under the tables, and needed a good sweep. This place does a fab Sunday lunch at a reasonable price. Plenty of meat and a gravy jug for each lunch. You can choose a small or regular lunch to suit your appetite.
