The Teazer Village Pub — Restaurant in Wales

Not sure where all the good reviews are from. Maybe I went in on a bad day. Walked in and the place smelt musty and old. Carpets obviously not been changed in a LONG time. Had to squish through a bunch of tables and finally sat down feeling very uncomfortable. Seems like a place for locals to drink but wanted something to eat so we left.

Should have known when we drove into the car park - it was full of rubbish and poorly maintained....

We went on a Wednesday lunchtime so it was quiet as you would expect,but everything else exceeded our expectations despite the many recommendations we had had. We had 3 courses ,all equally good,including steaks cooked exactly to our requirements and REAL chips!. Service was very pleasant and efficient with the right degree of attentiveness-Wonderful Birthday lunch for my Mum.....we will be back...

Eaten here twice on a Saturday night and also for Sunday lunch. Well worth a vist lovely pub with really nice customers good beer and cider and the food is very very good. The staff are lovely and made me feel very at home on both occasions. Puddings are to die for sticky pudding and custard and chery crumble and Icecream AMAZING. Will definitely...
