The White Hart Community pub as the name suggests was recently purchased by the local Community following its closure just over a year ago. It provides a much-needed community hub for the small village of St Dogmaels. The bar offers a mix of draught beers including some local craft ales such as Mantle Brewery’s Cwrw Teifi. A lively, albeit fiercely competitive quiz night is held on Sunday evenings, and live sport is screened during the week and weekends. Be sure to pop in and enjoy some genuine local hospitality.

Absolutely lovely little pub with super friendly staff, dog friendly, warm fire and cheap but tasty food. And all run by the local folks who so need a great social resource like this. Thanks for a really lovely visit.

Very good food, good service, well priced and very reasonable drink prices. Visited twice in a week and same high standard. Cod and chips is epic!

On our first night staying in St Dogmaels we decided to book a table as the menu looked reasonable and the pub was dog friendly. I was told on the phone that dogs are allowed in the bar area only which is pretty standard at most places. We arrived just before the booking time to a packed bar as the FA cup final was on. Unfortunately the table which had been reserved for us was already occupied by 3 people who refused to move when asked to by the staff. We were seated at the very end of this already occupied table and we felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. We finished our drinks and informed the staff that we wouldn't be staying to eat as we couldn't believe they expected us to share a table. Apparently this pub is owned by local people who quite rightly wanted to watch the football on a sunny Saturday evening but at the expense of accepting any bookings from visitors to the area. I will not recommend, unless you enjoy feeling like an unwelcome guest at a private...

VIsited again to have a meal but sadly the menu now is poor. The choice is very limited, chalkboard with 4 meals on it! So can’t comment on food quality as we didn't eat. Very disappointing given the meals we have had previously and we thought the menu was going in the right direction. Staff still friendly though and beer good..

..... Had many meals now. All have been really good and superb value.

Tonight's no exception. 5 quid for a tasty and satisfying main meal and 3.50 for lovely pud. All homemade. Beer great and staff welcoming. Brilliant

..... Have now revisted for Sunday lunch, which was also excellent.

.... First meal for us since reopening and it won't be the last. Food was great and the selection of vegetables a refreshing change from the majority of places that think a pile of peas will do.

Homemade coleslaw and side salad were good too. The meals are excellent value, there is a nice selection of local ales, and the staff were friendly. Highly...

Just moving furniture into our new house. Needed food and beer after a very long day. Popped into the pub, which felt very welcoming. Chatting to the waitress on duty ( sorry we didn't get your name) , who was extremely helpful with local information. We'd arrived just as the kitchen closed, but the chef rustled us up scampi and chips, which were fantastic. The real ale was very good . Stereophonics playing live at Cardiff, on the TV (got to love 'em), even our little dog was happy! Fantastic place and when we move in full time, will...
