Yr Orsaf. Pembrey Country Park Cafe/Restaurant — Restaurant in Wales

Stayed nearby and ate here 3 times. Lasagne is delicious and oven cooked, served with garlic bread and a delicious fresh side of salad and dressing. Chicken curry with rice and chips was delicious too and just enough spice - a good sized portion too! Pizza we chose to eat in the lovely patio area, absolutely delicious, lots of cheese and tomato, served in a box - it was really fresh on a thin floury base. Each meal was quickly served to our table by very friendly staff, delicious food, well presented, good portions.

The cafe is welcoming and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. We spent 3 sunny evenings having a beer and a cider outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the country park. There is a ship play frame...

Lovely place. Great seating and indoor and outdoor space. Great food. Only issue I would say is its not as I would describe "a restaurant" website shows a different kinda of style to reality. No table service. I presume due to covid restrictions? More of a shout your order across the area till someone stands up. Felt table numbers would be better.

Food was simple . Only 5 items to choose from Slight shame Pizza. Lasagna. Wraps. Fish and chips. And summin else.

Dog Friendly which is a huge bonus.

They have doggy ice cream which is good. No complaints from the dogs. :)

Last tip would be more bins outside. Always seemed full.

Overall love the park. Love the campsite have been before this was second visit and...

Was disappointed with the fish and chips here last night 14/6. We have eaten here when stopping on the camp site before and food was lovely then. This time the battered fish was over cooked, no mushy peas so had garden peas instead which weren’t the warmest, chips weren’t very warm either. We sit in the outside booths with the dogs whilst we eat which we enjoy. Will be trying it again over the weekend but for pizza and will write another more positive review if food is better. Updated on 16/6 we had lovely pizza’s today and were impressed… the other evening must have been a one off for food not being great. Everyone else’s food also...
