I recently visited Farmers Fayre, and I must say it truly lives up to its reputation as "The Hidden Gem of Warwickshire." This family-run business, established in 2000, is a true hub of local goodness. Located in the beautiful grounds of Stoneleigh Park, it offers a delightful experience for visitors.
The farm shop at Farmers Fayre is a must-visit. It is brimming with an impressive selection of local produce that exudes freshness and diversity. They have established long-standing relationships with local suppliers and farmers, ensuring that they bring only the very best products to their customers. Whether you're looking for fresh fruits and vegetables, artisanal cheeses, or homemade preserves, you'll find it all here.
The restaurant at Farmers Fayre is a true culinary delight. The dedicated chefs work tirelessly to create innovative, mouthwatering, and wholesome dishes. With seating for 140 people, there's ample space to enjoy your meal comfortably. Additionally, they have recently landscaped a garden area where they house a wood-fired oven. The food here is a testament to their passion for quality and their commitment to never compromising on taste.
What impressed me the most was the excellent service provided by the Farmers Fayre team. From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed. The staff members were always on hand to assist and lend a hand whenever needed. Their attentiveness and friendly nature made my experience all the more enjoyable.
Another great aspect of Farmers Fayre is the abundance of space and amenities they offer. There is ample free parking available, which is always a bonus. They also have an outdoor playground, making it a perfect destination for families with little ones. The overall atmosphere of the place is fantastic, creating a pleasant and relaxing ambiance.
Farmers Fayre's opening times are convenient, making it accessible for visitors throughout the week. They are open from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 7:30 am to 4 pm on Sundays. If you happen to visit on Wednesdays and Saturdays during lunchtime, you can indulge in their delicious pizzas cooked in the wood-fired oven.
One thing I appreciated about Farmers Fayre is that they do not require table bookings. You can simply approach a member of the staff upon arrival, and they will gladly assist you in finding a suitable table. This relaxed approach adds to the overall laid-back and welcoming atmosphere of the place.
In conclusion, my experience at Farmers Fayre was nothing short of excellent. From the top-notch service to the mouthwatering food and the beautiful location, everything came together to create a memorable visit. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a delightful dining and shopping experience in...
Read moreWasn't a fan, first the staff were chatting to friends and not very welcoming. Then the wrong drinks came out but no only that three times we witnessed staff without a clue where customers were sat in the end they were asking every table what number they are and if they ordered x or y. Eventually our food came out which was very overpriced for a bland bacon sandwich in a very tough dry sourdough. To top it off wasps attacking every table outside I know that can't be helped but the price customers pay surely citrus candles on tables wouldn't break the bank or even call out pest control. Was hoping it was going to be a nice place to visit but failed in so many ways. Even other customers seemed to be shouting at the staff which shows it probably wasn't just me with issues.
Edited my review to leave 1 star after being accused of making up that staff were being shouted at by other customers. I know what I witnessed. Also seems from the other 1 star reviews that you just reply about being busy to everyone. There are plenty more companies that are busy and still manage to get things right maybe happy staff that know what they are doing is what you need and to actually take pride in what you are serving customers as the food was awful.
Also is this the same farmers fayre that is listed as having a John bell as a director. After a quick Google search you can see his farm was suspended for poor animal cruelty and the video footage is horrendous. I am shocked that your company is associated with this and would think many of your customers would avoid after seeing this footage. Please explain the association with John bell as I urge other customers to view the footage for themselves and read the news articles for John bell of berryfields...
Read moreReturned for a second visit today for weekday lunch. Superb value and excellent food. I was impressed by the lack of waiting so common in restaurants nowadays and by the standard of the meal. Granted it is mass catering but mass catering well done. Prices are very reasonable for the meal but the bill will increase rapidly if drinks are ordered. Well worth a visit and, whilst you are there, buy some of the cheese : we bought three and each was excellent. We had a breakfast here recently : unfortunately things were not as good as what we had enjoyed on our two earlier visits. The meal was adequate but would have benefited from better ingredients. Certainly the black pudding was dry and the sausages cheap and relatively tasteless. My plate came minus the promised egg and no toast was provided. This cost almost £1 a slice and no jam appeared to be available. They need to up their game on this as their lunch and Sunday lunch are of a much...
