A small, cosy pub, not far from The Dome roundabout (hence its name) with good value beer, Sky Sports and, most importantly, dart boards!
The venue regularly hosts live bands, although I prefer to meet up with a friend there on quieter evenings when I'm visiting family in Watford.
The bar lady, Sarah, is very friendly and helped show me how to work the electronic darts scoreboard (no chalk needed here!). She told me the place is super busy on Saturdays, so get there early if you want a seat.

Read moreOur first visit to The Dome Bar. We went to sample more of Apple's amazing Thai food on her and her team's first night as The Dome's new in-pub restaurant (previously only available to take away).
We were so well looked after and Apple's food was so delicious. The sauces are so authentic and tasty. This wins hands down the best Thai in Watford. We will definitely be regulars!
