10 out of 5 stars! 👌 Definitely one of the best Indian curries I've had in a while. You should eat here 👍 I'm visiting my mum for her birthday and so the family's got together for a games night and takeaway and my mum was telling me about this new Indian restaurant that's opened down the road. So of course we had to order from there! I'm so glad we did🤤 The flavours were rich and considered, layered and so well balanced 👌 The meats were all cooked very nicely- not overcooked and very tender. The sauces were not greasy and tasted super fresh and the spice/heat was the best bit! It's not spicy for the sake of being hot, sometimes so hot but not the kind of heat that adds to the actual experience of the flavours, not that kind of spicy- I'm talking about the spices that bring some warmth out but do not overpower the play of flavour or texture on the tongue- the actual experience of the consideration that goes into a very well-done dish👌 I don't live here so I will have to wait until the next time I'm back, but for sure I will be eating from here each time I'm back! Mother and I actually decided that the next I'm back we'll go to the actual restaurant itself because we can only imagine good things 🤩 It's also great if you can't eat gluten (like me)! I especially really liked the railway lamb but tbh every dish we all ordered was very nice and even my sister liked it a lot and she's super difficult to satisfy really.
Can't wait to eat here again!...

I ordered a curry” Nawabi chicken” which had minimal chicken and for some reason come with a scotched egg which when asked why the waiter said I’ll come back to you.
I never found out if it was correct as it’s not on the menu mentioning an egg, it was bland and tasteless.
My friend had a chilli chicken which had no chilli what so ever and tasted bland also. We ended up leaving disappointed I will never return or recommend this restaurant.
Over priced and poor food my...
Read moreWe dined in at Lavish for Chistmas Eve dinner and all members of our party were blown away with how excellent the food was! Although the menu is a little limited with options, I would prefer to have less choice with quality food than vice versa. It’s also missing a few of the Indian takeaway classics but I by no means struggled to find something I would enjoy. Speaking with the owner on the night, he clearly knows how to form a good menu and we are thrilled to have this as our new local. The dining area is well presented and we couldn’t fault the friendliness and service of the staff. We look forward to...
