We visited the cafe on a Sunday for lunch. My wife is Coeliac so we checked what gluten free they had available. Gluten free bread was available for sandwiches. There was also jacket potatoes, ham, egg and chips, a ploughman's and the halloumi burger with the bun subbed GF bread. The sausages were not GF despite them selling a lot of GF sausages in their own butchers, which was a bit of a shame and the burgers were not gluten free either.
My wife had the ham, egg and chips and it was good quality ham and eggs and a generous portion. I had the breakfast bap with chips (non GF) and it was delicious and well cooked. Service was quick and very friendly (ordering was from the counter and there was a table to help yourself to cutlery). We also had tea for two (soya milk was available for my wife) and an absolutely delicious fresh orange juice made from whole oranges on the premises. We finished with a slice of gluten free lemon drizzle to share which was outstanding but it was their only gluten free cake.
All in all it came to just under £30 which was very reasonable. We would definitely come again when we're in the area.
We also noticed a small play area outside for smaller children which was a nice touch.
We also briefly visited the shop next door afterwards and they have a selection of 5 different gluten free sausage varieties so we bought a few to try. We haven't eaten them yet though but I'm hopeful they'll live up to the...
Read moreHad a Great experience at Tottingworth Farm shop and Cafe. The shop was great with a verity of things to buy from sauces, beer, bread and meat from the butcher. the hygiene here is very good, The staff in the cafe were very friendly and carried out very quick cleanup on tables. the cafe also has an outdoor sitting area and even a little area for the kids wich is also nice. the food we ordered came at a perfect time and was very tasty with readily available sauces when needed. the prices on food at the cafe are good, keeping it at not too expensive per person but also not too cheap. quality at a great price as it should be. I definitely recommend visiting the Tottingworth Farm...
Read moreGreat place to come for breakfast or lunch. We went on a Sunday morning at about 10 was able to get a table. Food was amazing i had eggs benedict which was very yummy. Portions are not very big but the quality is excellent. Price is quite expensive £10.00 for eggs benedict . The staff are friendly. Lots to choose from on the menu. There is a very small play area for children. It's a shame it's not bigger. As it is on a farm would love to be able to see some farm animals like many other places. There is a farm shop attached which is quite expensive but lots of things you are able to buy. Would definitely recommend coming her...
