For many many years I have driven past this place and always wondered what it would be like. Finally decided to give it a go. It is just before Tesco southport tucked away in the car show rooms. Limited parking at the front but plenty on the side roads etc.

When I rang to book a table, the lady said they didn't have one but would ring me later. She was super friendly on the phone and rang me back later on in the day to say they would create a table for me which was very kind of her.

Had me seated after a short wait outside on the day. Looked a bit understaffed but the 4 members in rushed around and did their best for all the customers. They all wore masks and social distancing is simply brilliant in this restaurant. My main was a little late but it was superb along with the taste of the starters too. The young lad who usually works at Hilton hotel was very good wiping tables inbetween meals and helping out with drinks etc. I think you need to add 1 more chef and 1 more member to your team to make it more smooth.

All in all a very friendly place and worth going to. Only downside was there was some party group who had to wait outside until their table was set up who basically did 0 social distancing and blocked the way of others on exit from restaurant. If it was a kids birthday I could understand but for adults their behaviour was absolutely terrible. Need...

We have been to Itsy Bitsy Thai to dine in before and found it to be good. We decided to order it for a special occasion, knowing it would be busy we pre ordered 24 hours before we wanted our order so that it would arrive on time. The restaurant were fine with this and took our order for delivery at 7:30. 7:30 arrived no sign of our food, fair enough it was a Saturday during lockdown so would probably be busy 8 o'clock arrives... Still no sign of our food. 10 past 8 a phone call from the restaurant explaining the food was late and would be delivered at 20 past 8 and we would receive a free bottle of wine. We had pre ordered 24 hours before for this very reason why take a pre order if you have no intention of fulfiling the delivery time?!?!?! We finally received our food at 8:45, and unfortunately the food was dreadful, none of the boxes were marked with what we had ordered, starters were cold and soggy, mains lukewarm, lacking seasoning and extremely watery. All in all very disappointing and a bottle of wine as an apology in my mind is poor. I would say wait until this place opens again to sit in as they clearly are unable to do takeaway to any where near the standard that they can do...

We visited Itsy Bitsy Thai last night (30.10.2021), it was our second time and honestly, we cannot recommend this place enough. It's perfect. I had roasted honey duck as a starter and it was even better than the first time I had it. Absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had vegetable gyoza that were also very nice, but after having the duck we both agreed that mine was absolutely the winner. We both had gang massamun as main, both with duck. I had mine with jasmine Thai rice, he had sticky rice instead. Gorgeous. We could not find a single complaint. Even though we were extremely full, we decided to be adventurous and had dessert. Coconut crepes with ice cream and fresh fruit, very unique and very nice. So, do yourselves a favour and have a great meal here! I would also like to thank the staff. They are the kindest, friendliest and loveliest people. I saw them chatting to so many customers that I am sure were regulars. You can tell they love what they do. We can't wait to be back very soon....

This is the first time I have ordered a takeaway to be delivered. However the food was very disappointing. Salt and pepper ribs were not like anything I have ever tasted before. Prawn baguette toast was flavourless and greasy. Red Thai Curry and white rice was actually authentic and tasty. Pad See Iew (Beef rice noodles) were glutinous and beef was extremely chewy and dry. Overall I was well and truly disappointed with the whole meal. Left feeling very hungry. Your reviews for eat in looked amazing hence getting the takeaway. Sorry I will not be ordering a takeaway again.

Great food and service need to go again ASAP. Ordered the sharing starter, extra satay skewers and salt and pepper calamari. These where all excellent. We then followed by a masuman curry and a spicy prawn dish which where also top notch. Meals where a little on the pricey side but quality was excellent and once the eatout to help out discount was applied it was well worth it. Would 100% recommend even at the full price best Thai place around
