It is a tale of 2 halves for the review. Had food in the evening being the light bites as shown in the photographs. The food was superb. I'm not a hummus fan normally but the red sauce part was fantastic. The halloumi fries were great and the prawns were also great. However the mussels especially the nduja cream sauce stole the show. Absolutely amazing. I wish I had more bread to mop it up. The albarino white wine complimented it perfectly. Evening meal score 5 out of 5 The next morning having had such nice meal in the evening we went to try the breakfast. There wasn't many people in however the service was very slow. We had finished our drinks way before they came to take our order for food. The food came after a further long wait. I had the full breakfast. It consists of 2 sausages, 2 bacon, beans, hash brown, mushroom, black pudding and toast. The best thing on the plate was the black pudding. Unfortunately the sausages were bland, the bacon wasn't great and the mushroom was ok but 2 would have been better. The coffee was nice though. It was a contrast to the night before which had flavoursome dishes. So just a tweak or 2 to the breakfast with better ingredients then it will be better. Breakfast score 2.5 out of 5 The staff are lovely as is the venue. It's fabulous inside, even the toilets are great. Plus there is a function area upstairs which is beautiful. A great addition to Parbold.

I had the pleasure of dining here recently, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The service was fantastic - James, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect. The atmosphere and decor were spot on, creating a warm and inviting vibe that made the experience even more enjoyable. Every small plate we ordered was impeccable. The nduja mussels were rich and flavorful, the padron peppers had just the right amount of char and seasoning, and the whipped feta was an absolute standout, creamy, tangy, and irresistible. The salt and pepper chicken bites were crispy and perfectly spiced, and the truffle fries were indulgent and addictive. I’m already planning to come back for breakfast (the menu looks amazing) and can’t wait to try their drinks as well! Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for outstanding food, top-notch service, and a fantastic ambiance. A must-visit!

What an amazing place to host my sisters baby shower from the moment we parked up the staff couldn’t do enough to offer their help. Throughout the whole afternoon they consistently offered help and brought drinks up to the beautiful hosting venue upstairs. The decor is exquisite from the fabrics on the chairs to the well thought out details in the bathrooms. Throughout the whole day we couldn’t have asked for more the drinks and beautiful platters were brought to us and it made the whole day entirely enjoyable! Everyone has been talking about it for the last few weeks. Even at the end of the event help was at hand. Great staff great food and a stunning venue could not recommend enough. Thank you to everyone.

Booked a table for dinner. Arrived and shown to table straight away, the restaurant is tiny and lacked atmosphere! Ordered small plates and a pizza to share with my husband. The pizza and salt and pepper chicken arrived first, the chicken was stone cold and we sent back, then after waiting a while the beef arrived and that was cold. Service was poor, no one came to check how anything was, no chance of ordering a drink or anything. When the plates finally were cleared I mentioned to the waitress that the beef was also cold. The manager came across and apologised and said this is due to the food sitting in a draft in the kitchen that they know about and are trying to rectify! What?! If you know you need to limit your menu! If they can’t cater for a table of 2 then how would they go about a table of 8? Also to note, the plates come out when they are ready, so you won’t all eat at the same time, i don’t mind this style of dining if it’s highlighted by a server or on a menu. Unfortunately we won’t be back again...
