The Farmers Arms — Restaurant in West Lancashire

Very disappointed, started off well with a drink outside but when it got to the meal inside- absolute rubbish. Had to wait over an hour for our mains, apparently they were short staffed in the kitchen, but instead of letting us know when we arrived, they did not. 3/6 meals were incorrect and when they did arrive, they weren’t very good, not rating the food at all. Felt sorry for other people as when we were leaving nobody’s food had arrived and there was no signs of any food coming out. A couple decided to leave because they were sick of waiting. I would call for a drink again, but I will not book a meal...

The staff were wonderful and couldn't fault them. The decor was perfect. Sunday dinner delicious, just the beef let it down. We asked for medium cooked which is was, as it was slightly pink. The problem was that it was really tough, we couldn't cut it as well as chew it. We didn't say anything but would have if asked what we thought of it. We will try it again as other people's meals...

Lovely lunch. The food cooked perfectly with expertise, service, value 1st class. Starter chilli prawns and Calamari. Sizzling mixed plate, Sea bass with deserts. Staff friendly and attentive, The owner passionate about his food Evening menu looks amazing, we will return to this little gem very soon. Thank you for a lovely experience....
