The Tyrwhitt Arms embodies the charm and tradition of a classic village pub, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home.
As a family-run establishment, it exudes a personal touch and genuine hospitality, making every visit an enjoyable experience.
The steaks are, without question, the best we have found in Lincoln, cooked to perfection and of exceptional quality. The surf and turf is equally impressive, showcasing premium ingredients and expertly balanced flavours. Additionally, the Sunday carvery is, in our opinion, the best in the area, featuring perfectly prepared meats and an excellent selection of accompaniments.
Beyond the superb food, The Tyrwhitt Arms offers excellent value for money, with prices that are both reasonable and reflective of the quality dining experience provided. With amazing staff this pub is a winner all round.

Usually go on a Thursday night, when you can by a main meal & pudding for £8.00 as long as you order together. More often than not I am stuffed. Even on it's own the 1st course is £6.00. Best check the website or Facebook page to see the menu and worth being early not to disappoint!

I have raised this with the lovely waitress who informed me that Rob, the manager was going to come and see us. GREAT!
BUT THEN...
Rob arrived and was nothing but Rude, passive aggressive and defensive. He would not accept our complaint about his food, and did nothing but try to argue. I was merely trying to explain that the food was below par. I do not mind spending £30 on lunch, however I do expect it to be edible. I certainly do not expect the manager to try start arguing with paying customers.
We will not be eating here again and would advice others...
