Very disapointing meal. We are a family of 8. We arrived at Centre Parcs and ordered in good time to allow us sufficient time to enjoy our meal and to get into our lodge before 2pm as we had paid extra for the early start. The meal took about 50 minutes to arrive even though the restaurant was fairly empty. Other parties that arrived after us were served before us too. The impression we got was that our order had somehow been forgotten. When we chased the order up it still took about another 10 minute to be served. Even then they came in dribs and drabs. The meals arrived undercooked and incorrect too. Even the drinks order was incorrect too. There was eggshell in about 3 of the meals too. Given our tight schedule, we had to rush our meals so as to benefit from the aforementioned early start we had paid extra for. When we complained to staff the manager declined to speak with us in person and instead communicated back and forth via his staff. In conclusion the manager agreed to take some money off the bill, insisted that we pay £19.20p and stipulated that this was his final offer. We accepted and left. Not a good start to our 7 day stay at Centre Parcs. Bad meal and bad customer...

A lot of improvement needed & they charge for free baby food...

The Foresters BBQ chicken was dry, cold and clearly left under the hot lamps for a while. My curry although nice had been seen sitting under hot lamp for over 10 minutes. The mixed grill wasn't very warm and steaks were over cooked. Had better in Wetherspoons.

The BBQ chicken was sent back and we was offered another or something different. We accepted another and arrived after 5-10 minutes, this time was much better.

If the chef can not handle an order for a group of 6 then they shouldn't be working in a kitchen.

Centre parcs offer free baby food in most if not all restaurants, the Foresters advertise free baby food. I asked for what was available and only the Ella's kitchen red fruit was, I thought there would be a selection but wasn't worried. Bill arrived and was charged £1.95 for a 90gram pouch. The waitress informed us she had been told to put them through the till, checked with her manager and was informed to take it of the bill. It is clearly advertised on their menus and website that it's free. I wonder how many people don't check their bills have been charged.

Shame on you...

My wife and I had dinner here tonight. We had a warm welcome and were shown to our tables. A waitress came to us not long after we had sat down to take our drinks orders. Good selection of beers and ciders available. Our food was very good, although I feel maybe the prawn cocktail was a bit overpriced for what it was. It was nice but at almost £8 for something that was half lettuce (at least)… lesson learned for next time. My wife had cheesy garlic bread. It is not a starter item but they were happy to accommodate. I feel this was good value at just under £4 for four generous sized pieces, well covered in cheese. Main courses were excellent. The steak and ale pudding is actually a pie, but it was delicious. Generous helping of mashed potato and vegetables and gravy. Real comfort food. My wife’s cheese burger looked good too, although the bun was maybe a little dry. Dessert rounded off the meal nicely. The meringue roulade was excellent. The chocolate pudding was a good portion too. All in all, a good experience and decent food and drink. The general restaurant was clears and we’ll set out. We will happily...

Welcome to this fine establishment that feels quite grande with its interior. Inside there is a gym in one part, and the other a restaurant in sections that include a children's play area. (Personally the best inside children's area in my opinion) So whilst it has that country club feel, it also comes with county club prices when it comes to food so prepare to extend your mortgage. The food is well cooked and the service is good and most often than not a great welcome too. Not my first visit, nor my first review but still they maintain they hight consistent standards. If you are looking for finesse then definitely come. Sometimes quality is worth the value. Sadly I forgot to take breakfast pics, however there is a cocktail photo somewhere, so as you can tell, we visited a few times.
