Munchies (Pemberton) — Restaurant in Wigan

Ordered £19.90 worth of food , asked for the two free kids meals as I’d spent over £15 what it says on the take away wall. Then got told it’s now £18 minimum? I then said “I’ve spent £19.90” then their excuse was “ your order is already done “ even though I waited 10 minutes for the food to be passed over. Then I told them I can wait for the kids free meals but was told point blank” no there not giving them to you!” So told them I wont bother using them again . I was told “well don’t!” This is not the first time they’ve messed my order up without an apology .They are very ignorant, incompetent and have terrible customer service skills The advert on the window says it all really, advertising for a 16+ female to work on the counter. Thought that was a little worrying, makes you wonder why! Sexist and exploitation...

Actually can’t belive I ordered my food from here at 6 and said it was going to be here at 7 but ended up being an hour late with missing items, this is not the first time it has happened, they sometimes have good service but recently have gone down hill and I have been a regular customer for a while, but I don’t think I will be ordering from here anymore. My fillet burger was burnt and there was no mayonnaise which I asked for, the chips were also cold and they missed off the garlic bread, we rang back several times asking how long they would be with our food and every time we rang they said they would be 5 minutes which was a lie and I was extremely annoyed, really wouldn’t recommend, meant to be fast food but that’s the longest I have ever...

The fact the food is actually really good is the only reason i use this place. 10 out of 10 for food no question. BUT the service and delivery service is beyond shocking, its by FAR the worst by a long shot. You are told it will be 45 minutes at the most and your extremely lucky if you receive your order in under 2 hours. EVERY single time without fail. Constantly ringing to chase your order up and constantly told the same thing. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out if your taking more orders then more delivery drivers are required.
