Decided to chance it without booking. It was very busy & the music was a little loud as we walked in. However, we managed to get seated by lovely staff & the music didn't seem as loud there. Everywhere appeared spotlessly clean & the food smelt delicious. The decor was chic & the ambience was cosy yet comfortable. Communication was top notch & despite being told that service may be delayed for 10 minutes due to a very large party that had arrived infront of us, we were served quite instantly. No sooner had we ordered & our starters were served & drinks were offered at the correct intervals. The cauliflower starter was out of this world & piping hot. The garlic bread looked & apparently tasted amazing. The portion sizes were perfect! Onto mains & everything about it was perfect. The time served, the portion size, how it was cooked, the temperature & presentation. It truly was faultless & we would love to...

First time visiting today and have left very impressed. We had a booking for 4 adults & my little boy. The staff were incredibly accommodating. They took our drink orders quickly, with another member of staff checking we’d had our order taken also. The food arrived quickly and was lovely. We had beef & lamb roasts which we all said we’d be back for again. Great portions and was clearly all home cooked. My boy loved his pizza. Staff asked several times if we needed more drinks or sauces etc. The highlight of my experience was how lovely the staff were with my boy. After demolishing his pizza he wanted to roam around and the staff were very polite about this, paying him lots of attention which he was smiling about :) Thank you for a fab Sunday dinner. We will be...

Phoned to check availability at 16:30 on a Sunday and was greeted pleasantly on the telephone. Was asked what it was I would like to do but it wasn’t available but a close second was, brilliantly didn’t dismiss us but suggested a different time and not by much. Turned up with a warm greeting by the staff and seated 5 minutes before time. We’d checked the menu before arrival so had a good idea of what to order. One Sunday lunch and a not allowed dietary steak for me 😂😂 the sauce that came with it was amazing and I’d love the recipe or a bottle of it 😂 both plates fully cleared we had to share a desert! Gorgeous just perfect x thank you The...

I chose the chicken flatbread whilst dining here. At £16.95, this was decent value for a substantial and tasty meal. The service was very good. There only negatives were the fact that I was with my Mum, who has walking issues and uses a stick. We were asked to sit at the far end of the pub, which was also furthest away from the toilets and required climbing a few steps, which wasn’t great for my Mum. The music playing was also too loud, however the staff were more than happy to turn down when we asked if this was possible.

Visited here end of November - for a Sunday roast with family. Booked a table (4pm). The food was as you’d expect. The reason for the less stars was simply around service - there was no chicken available which sometimes you just have to accept - but we were surrounded by large table bookings. Those tables seemingly got all the attention and priority. We ended up going to the bar to pay - after waiting over 20 mins with finished plates in front of us and left.
