I visited today and sat outside with my dog whilst waiting for my other dog to have tests at the Small Animal Hospital a couple of miles away. The two ladies there were both lovely - my dog was brought some water and we were made to feel very welcome. I was served at my table and it arrived quickly. The granary toast and jam was heavenly - beautiful bread, good chunky slices and a generous dollop of gorgeous strawberry jam! The coffee was in a huge mug and nothing was too much trouble. We have to go back to the hospital on Friday and will be going there again without doubt. Read moreThis is a very small and independent cafe. The staff are really nice and overall I had a good visit.
The food was nice and seemed of decent quality. The sausages seemed to be from a butchers which was a nice addition. I would say the only issue with it was the lack of seasoning on everything and just a bit too much oil. There is so many good breakfast places on the Wirral which requires cafes to stand out, especially with taste.
The coffee was nice enough, and was a good price.
The outside seating was nice and calm. However the space inside is not the biggest, and was very busy, so be prepared for that.
