This is a very small and independent cafe. The staff are really nice and overall I had a good visit. The food was nice and seemed of decent quality. The sausages seemed to be from a butchers which was a nice addition. I would say the only issue with it was the lack of seasoning on everything and just a bit too much oil. There is so many good breakfast places on the Wirral which requires cafes to stand out, especially with taste. The coffee was nice enough, and was a good price. The outside seating was nice and calm. However the space inside is not the biggest, and was very busy, so be prepared for that. All in all, I would visit again, but it would be nice to see some additions to improve it further.

Came for mother's day afternoon tea and it was absolutely lovely, all the food was freshly made, the cakes were AMAZING! The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble even after I'd forgot to mention my wife doesn't like butter on her food. 100% would recommend and come again

Called by this morning, what a treat it was. I would say it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had, a full plate, the food was piping hot, a fantastic and huge pot of tea and great service. Don’t consider going here, make a point of going !

I visited today and sat outside with my dog whilst waiting for my other dog to have tests at the Small Animal Hospital a couple of miles away. The two ladies there were both lovely - my dog was brought some water and we were made to feel very welcome. I was served at my table and it arrived quickly. The granary toast and jam was heavenly - beautiful bread, good chunky slices and a generous dollop of gorgeous strawberry jam! The coffee was in a huge mug and nothing was too much trouble. We have to go back to the hospital on Friday and will be going there again without doubt. They even said they hoped my dog was OK as I left - you don't often find such kind, personal and professional service. ...

Visited the tearooms for breakfast with my 10 year old son at 10:30AM this morning, it was quite busy but service was still quick and excellent, everything was cooked fresh to order, all local produce used, (the sausages were amazing), very friendly & helpful staff, nothing too much trouble, my son can be a bit fussy. There is large outside seating area but we chose to sit inside. The tearooms are in a charming building and are spotlessly clean throughout. Highly recommended, will definitely be...
