McDonald's — Restaurant in Wirral

One of the worst branches we have visited. On a previous visit, they messed up my order (no point customising your request as you won't get what you have requested!) when I ordered and paid for an extra plant-based patty. No second patty when the meal came, I couldn't be bothered to speak to the servers and thought it was a one off, so let it go. On the most recent visit, I had the same issue, second patty was missing, this time they also missed up my son's order, after we customised it. My partner's meal was ok but he went to speak to the server as he had placed and paid for the order. They didn't advise that they were preparing the 2 wrong orders from scratch so he stood for almost 10 minutes waiting for the orders to be rectified (not knowing that this was what they were doing). During this time, his food was going cold. So the whole experience was ruined. He was met with a very confrontational and defensive response from the young man who was apparently a "senior" member of staff. The lack of customer service was appalling, instead of apologising and rectifying it, the young man chose to argue with my partner, there was no need for it. A female manager, took over dealing with the matter, refunding the cost of all meals. She was more approachable but there was a lack of appropriate customer service skills from her also. Nobody seems to care if they mess up your order, nobody takes pride in their work there. The tables are always filthy, with a lack of staff to clean up. The apathy from the workforce (who are basically a bunch of entitled kids), is overwhelming. Will not be eating at this...

Everytime I've visited this restaurant they just can't get the order right...

The first few times I thought it would have been because it was a new restaurant and I gave it the benefit of the doubt and keep trying but this was the last time for me. This is even worse than the upton restaurant when it was at its worst. Your always made to wait for your order... The food is never hot, I can understand this to some extent but everytime I try and give them a chance its bearly luke warm. My order has never been correct first time from this restaurant, whether it be completely wrong drink, missing main items, missing sauces, missing sides or totaly different items than what I ordered.

This last time, amongst missing items which I had to go into the restaurant for to correct the order, only to realise when i got home there where more missing items, (it was an order for 5 people) they managed to charge me for a double big-mac with bacon, with no onion.... used a double big-mac box... only to be served a standard, cold! bigmac, with no bacon... Whats the point in the customisation if they serve you whatever they feel like....

This is the last time for me and I would recommend anyone in the area to travel to Prenton to save yourself the headache or heartache of constantly dealing with apologetic staff and incorrect...

The young kids that work here treat it like a youth club. If they’re not all outside smoking and playing football, they’re leaving you waiting to give your order whilst they chat and mess about. Girl found it hilarious that she had left us waiting (in an otherwise empty queue) to speak into the intercom for 5 minutes. Drove round to the pay window where the girl seen me pull up and walked out the room leaving me for another 6 minutes to pay. Came back in laughing her head off. Then another 4 minute wait for the actual food (after being told to park up even though I was the only car there and it was 6am!) Girl smirked at me while giving me food which was ALL wrong (only ordered two meals - no tweaks just standard meals but both meals were wrong). Burger was absolutely swimming in sauce to the point it was sliding about and couldn’t pick it up properly, sauce (the wrong sauce I might add) dripping everywhere, threw it away in disgust!
