Good local cafe, which seems very popular with the local businesses in the area. Offering a good selection of breakfast & lunchtime options at a reasonable price. Food is to a good standard, and they let me change a breakfast item without any hassle. I went for the mega breakfast, which was served pipping hot & included a coffee. The ladies behind the counter were lovely and nothing too much hassle, even though they were busy. Would recomend.

I just popped in for a bite to eat while my car was getting mot'd. I had a bacon and egg toast and a cuppa. Very tasty food and a great cuppa as well. Friendly service and quick as well. I was sitting outside, making the most of our British summer, and it is a great place to sit and watch the world go by while enjoying a very tasty toasty and some tea. Great place and I will be back.

First visit and food was lovely. Very friendly and fast service for are bigger than usual order which was securely packaged for us to carry away. They have indoor seating if you want to sit in and there is a warm indoor place to stand if it too cold. Definitely going back. Update: Been back many times. Try taking home a curry with rice to have later.

decent food. grabbing a sausage on toast to go(sausages delicious,!) .one thing though that another reviewer mentioned ,the toast with your meal is more like just warm bread that has barely seen the inside of the toaster ,may seem a small point but if I wanted warm bread with my breakfast instead of toast,I'd ask for warm bread ,it's actually one of the reasons thats caused me to go elsewhere for my meals on occasion, that and poor service and why I've gone from 4 stars to 3 stars...just in for a brekky, toast again looked as though it was just waved over the toaster,I asked for it to be replaced, as I have on several previous occasions and the warm bread removed and few minutes later two more pieces of warm bread, dumped on table as server walked away saying" is that better !"obviously miffed ,without waiting for reply.how hard is it to make a piece of toast??seems petty but that and the attitude of the server and the service not being what it used to be,means i'll be going elsewhere in future, shame as ive had many decent meals here in the past.Jackie(the owner) doesnt spend as much time here as she used too and it shows....ERRIN..im not a rival business and I've been going here for years and until recently would give 4 or 5 stars ..but as I said, standards have dropped and some staff seem to resent being asked for what shouldn't be a problem. As for blatant lies, wind your neck in ,its an honest review,I'm not in the habit of slagging businesses off.Coming from Wales you're probably very impressed that its half the price and still twice the quality your used...

I used to highly rate this place but, I can't give it the 5 stars anymore my reasons being as follows. I was impressed by the very clear, well placed sign informing all customers must wear masks and that it was table service only. I acknowledged the ladies behind the counter and took a seat at the table. Nobody came to serve me.One of the ladies came to bring out an order but, didn't even acknowledge that I was there and just walked off when I tried to get her attention saying "excuse me please?" I asked another customer how he got served who told me that he had to go upto the counter to place his order. I would like to mention that I have no objection in going to the hatch to be served I was just following the instructions on their sign. I had to remove my mask as she couldn't hear me over the kitchen bustle and workmen at the outside hatch. With the exception of 2 items the breakfast would have been excellent but, the toast was more like buttered bread that was shy of the toaster and the beans were not very nice (tasted like the cheap ones). This spoiled the overall breakfast which, was a shame. It didn't help that I was over charged either. My order was a small breakfast which includes tea or coffee at £4.50 plus a second coffee for a £1.00 totalling £5.50 I was charged £7.80 which is a £2.30 difference. I could understand paying abit extra for asking for a milky coffee but not £2.30 on top. I am so disappointed as this place used to be one of my favourite goto places. I am hoping this was just a one off but, I will not be having those beans again if...

I can’t get over the bad reviews on here, blatant lies and probably other jealous business owners.

This cafe does the best breakfast around, and the ladies are so so lovely and friendly. Last time I came it was a boiling hot day, and they still served with a smile on their face, despite being incredibly hot!

I am quite new to the area, and they certainly made me feel welcome, even with my welsh accent :) I certainly wouldn’t go anywhere else. In fact, I am taking my son there this morning for breakfast. Thanks...
