The Glassy Junction — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Went there for a late lunch with my wife. The staff were very friendly and the food was superb.

We visit many different places for a good mixed grill and this is one of the best in Wolverhampton. Many other places cremate their meat but this was cooked perfectly with great flavour. My only recommendation would be to cut the chicken tikka bigger rather than small bite sized. We also ordered a chicken Madras and again very good authentic flavours.

We are Indian so are quite critical about Indian food when eating out. This place hits the spot and our compliments to the chef.

Price was very good and the quantity of food made it good value for money compared to other places.

Very disappointed as I was a regular customer.

We went as a family and ordered over £100 of food. The wait was long which we didn't mind. But as we over ordered there was 3 FULL dishes left. We asked the kitchen staff for containers and they said they will pack them up for us. As we were leaving we approached the kitchen for our food and was told they didn't know anything about it. We asked the lady and was told basically they'd been thrown away. We didn't mind and thought this could be resolved another time when we visit again. Only to be told that this was not their problem and we would still have to pay for any order. Even though 3 full dishes were thrown away and we was still charged for them.

As someone who has visited curry houses up and down the Country for years and who's own family has worked in the business of Indian restaurants, I can honestly say that the Glassy Junction team truly know how make the perfect curry and each dish we try is of the highest quality. I have been visiting regularly for a few weeks now using their takeaway service and feel lucky to find such a gem so close to home. We'd like to try everything on their menu, it's that good and if you are a fan of currys but haven't tried this place yet, you are missing out! I can't praise them highly enough!
