It had been quite a few years since I'd been to the mug house house ....always had the fondest memories....decide to go back 2nd July.......had a lovely surprise with the cabins they have ...so much so I'm purchasing one ....the food was good ....prices had risen slightly as expected but not over the top ....the menu needs re writing ......£10 for pork pie..not sure if it's family sized ..or you get salad ect with it ...£4 for a small one .slightly larger than the mini size....too over priced in my opinion .....had cheesy chips ..with hardly any cheese on ..intact there were only the 4 chips in the centre of the bowl with a small amount of cheese on ....how ever .more was added when asked with no extra charge ....the person who served us was extremely miserable ....regardless of what troubles you have when dealing with customers its good to have a smile ...even if you don't want to converse ....over all .a nice...
   Read moreGreat pub with great atmosphere. Staff are lovely and welcoming. This is a very old pub with a Tudor timber exterior and ‘wonky’ lime plaster interior. Has a variety of mugs hanging from the ceilings, hence the name. It has 3 sitting rooms, food is also available. Beer garden in the summer is a popular gathering spot. It’s one of the oldest pubs in Worcester, around 700 years old. It’s also located in the churchyard of adjoining St John Baptist Church in the north of Worcester’s lovely countryside. Well...
