I booked a room here through Expedia, they then used a 3rd party who then used a letting company.|Although booking was confirmed I didn’t get any check-in details so had to contact them. Spent 2 hours on the phone and eventually got through to an overseas agent who told me my booking hadn’t been paid for (I entered all payment details on Expedia & had it confirmed), they wanted me to pay over the phone which I politely declined.||These rooms are nothing to do with the pub and seem to be managed by some strange letting agency, seems to be an air b & b.|Would advise...
Read moreWe were a Party of 5 People. So we had 3 Rooms. All Rooms were very cosy and clean. They had everything you could whish for. There is a nice Bar and Restaurant and a lovely Garden. Woolpit is a beautiul, traditional english Village. ||||The Staff were very friendly and the Breakfast delicios! ||The stay ment to be just a little Stopp on our Jurney. But it was so wounderfull that it was an Event in it self. Dog-friendly beer garden but not inside, even though the floor is sticky and it smells like a chippy. This means we’re not able to visit in the winter months when it’s cold out as our dogs come with us everywhere.
Staff are friendly but general atmosphere is not great and feels like the owners have given up recently.
