Absolutely horrible experience. Worst location in Abilene. I placed an online order to 'skip the wait'. I placed the order and it was set to be ready by 12:45. I showed up about 01:10. Clearly, enough time to be ready. We go to the spot that says "skip the line -- online orders." However, no orders were placed on the rack. We had to join the long line just to speak to someone as no one would speak to us. While waiting, we witnessed a customer shouting at the register, "can someone take my money so I can eat." He had been waiting to pay out for quite a while. They get a drive thru woman to help with the register which then begins YELLING that they need to figure it out up here as she has a line in the drive thru to get back to. Multiple times she yelled. After waiting about 10minutes, we finally get to our turn but the guy leaves to work on online orders. He is pushing the online down the line but no one knows what they are, except the customers watching. I read of the receipt that the name and promise time of "1:50pm". I tell the guy who finally speaks to us, that we had an online order and it is clearly not ready. He informs me that they are behind and I will just have to wait. I tell him no, I need my order, it was set to be ready 30 minutes ago. It says "ready for pick up" on the app. He puts his hands together to let me know, with condescension, that I will just have to wait. I tell him no, that guy is working on orders that are not due to be ready for another 40 minutes. That my order was an hour before that one. He then walks away to finally investigate. We make it to the register and about 4 sandwiches followed us to there. The yelling drive thru lady then proceeds to ask what we have. I state those are not mine. She asks the line whose are these? No one answers her just look at her and carry on. I inform her that those our online orders that the first guy ignoring everyone has been working on. They need to be bagged and put for ONLINE. She just stared at me in shock as I know more about what is going on in this restaurant than the 6 (or more) people do. It is lunch time. However, the location made drive thru orders a priority over online PAID FOR orders and people inside the site. This was a HORRIBLE experience. Waste of time. Rude team members. Read moreToday I was extremely hungry . I have an appointment next door from this location and I was so stressed about my results. Subway is one of the best place in my opinion to eat. However today I enter the location and 2 young ladies (10/26/22 time 1:28 pm ) were there I was looking at the menu to select the best things to calm me down. One lady asked me what I want and I said just please give me a second to see what I want today . She look up me with anger and begging talking about me and pointing at me laughing with her coworker. I tried to call 4 times and it gives a busy tone. How do you have the order staring at you and you mess it up? Just READ. I live 25min away so to just turn around is not happening and I shouldn't need to open each sandwich before I go. What's the point of ordering online if you cannot just picking up and trust that mistakes happen sometimes but not every time.
