my daughter and I decided to get breakfast here. we were seated immediately as they weren’t busy yet. Our server, Destiny, was super sweet and very attentive. I ordered the Crab-ocado Scrambler with home fries and my daughter ordered the kids pick 3 and she got the waffle stack with chocolate chips, bacon, and fruit cup.
While waiting on the food there weren’t many customers at that time but it was refreshing to see the employees that were there conversing and smiling with each other in a way that was appropriate while still being attentive to the customers that were there. Sometimes you go into an establishment and you have employees standing around looking miserable and/or talking about inappropriate things or that kind of thing and it’s a big red flag, but these girls were happy and smiling and looked like they enjoyed being at work which then makes the customer enjoy being there.
The food came and my scrambler was delicious. Full of flavor, crab cakes were moist and seasoned well, scrambled eggs were fluffy, and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and spot on. It also has spinach, cheddar cheese, fresh avocado, bacon, and caramelized red onions. I asked Destiny to please let the cooks know how much I enjoyed it and she did so right then. My daughter really enjoyed her food as well and pretty much finished her plate.
Prices are fair for food quality and you will leave with your belly full. For my meal and a water and my daughter’s meal and her chocolate milk it was around $24 before tip.
We look forward to returning and trying different things on the menu and wish them success and hope to see them stick around in the area for...
Read moreMy daughter and I had brunch here. When we walked in, I loved the clean farmhouse feel it presented. We were seated rather quickly as it was not too busy. We stopped by around lunch time (12 ish) my daughter ordered the crème brûlée French toast. And I had the carne asada burrito and a vanilla latte (hot)
Food review:
crème brûlée: My daughter (21 years old) stated that the French toast started out good, but she quickly realized that they were heavily drenched in the crème brûlée sauce and made them soggy very quickly. Suggestion would be to ask for the sauce on the side and put on at your own discretion.
Carne Asada burrito: I ordered this because I’m not a heavy or big eater. So if you’re looking for a traditional breakfast, this isn’t it! But it was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect crisp outside and hot and cheesy mixed with steak insides yummmmm 🤤 let’s say I was not mad lol
Our waitress was nice and was from NY 🙌🏾 she was pleasant, but at times was not attentive. I honestly wouldn’t say anything bad about her because again she was really sweet. I may just have a higher standard for how attentive someone should be. Overall I would go back and so would my daughter. She did mention that if she went back she would definitely try...
Read moreHostess greeted us with "Good Morning" and a smile as she opened the door for us. Seated right away. Destiny, our waitress, was friendly and efficient. We were able to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. Sharing one item at a time. This allowed us to not over order as well as to savor each course. We started with the Seasonal croissant style donuts, Boston Cream Pie. Boy howdy, did this scrumptious confection set the bar HIGH. Next was the griddled blueberry muffin. Tasty, especially when we spread butter on it. Followed up with bacon. 9.6/10 rating.
Edit: Wanted the BCP croissant style donuts again, but first French Toast. Specifically Creme Brule French Toast. Two huge slices of bread generously stuffed with the BCP filling and topped with three dollops the most amazing custard. The decadence was accompanied by two strips of yummy bacon. And yes, we did indeed indulge in the BCP croissant style donuts. The bar is HIGH. Bonus points, we were seated in Destiny's section again.
The word is out that a new kid has opened and already gained attention. Barely got a table before it became a 30...
