Real deal Italian spot. From the outside looks like a convenience store with Illinois Lottery displays but when you walk in, a classic Italian deli/grocery shop with dine-in area, a large spread of pre-made sandwiches, desserts, other homemade goodies, and a fridge/freezer full of take-home food and meals. Also nice to see they have a drive-thru. Pictured here is a 6" Paesano on their homemade bread with everything on it as well as hot giardiniera. Subs are made-to-order and you can see the cooks doing so. Meats are nicely portioned and the sub itself was not overly stuffed. Ordered this as a combo (which I could probably do without next time) which includes a bag of choice of chips and a fountain drink from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. Definitely want to try out their Serino Special Sub, Eggplant Parmesan Sub, Caprese Sub, or even their Pizzas next time. Their cannolis and cookies looked to die for so will need to grab those also.

Ordering is a hassle. You order at the front items to be made. But then get sent to the side to pay and order pasta, stuff that is already made. And then you have to explain what you ordered on the other end. Which she had an attitude about it. The other ladies were nicer. Anyways italian sandwish was ok. The pasta salad was really good but whatever oil they used, leaves a terrible after taste & you can't get rid of it. Until after many many listerine washes. Anywho I don't think I'd return. Maybe to buy the cool Italian drinks but not the food. The parking lot is very cramped too and if you're not careful you get stuck at the drive through due to people who can't properly use the drive through and take up the whole exit spot.

Taste: 5 out of 5 Wait: 5 out of 5 Staff: 5 out of 5 Seating: 5 out of 5 Parking: 3 out of 5 Value: 5 out of 5 Total: 28 out of 30 (highly recommended) Became for lunch and saw a full parking lot so we knew the place was going to be good. We got inside and there seem to be a lot of people waiting. Much to my surprise they flew through the line very quickly. They have 6+ staff members behind the counter making it happen. The prices are very economical and the food is extraordinary. Not what I expected from a place with a sign that said Deli. Highly recommended to everyone who can get a parking spot. The rush starts right around noon.

I’ve been coming here off and on sense they opened and have Always been treated like family and served the best tasting and freshest stuff to eat. We’ll today (New Years Eve) The Warden (Italian Woman😳) as my Son Calls my lovely wife Lori. Decides that she’s going to wipp up some of her Famous home made Pizza for tonight’s celebration so she spends her day getting cheese and Sausage from her Favorite Italian stores in the city by her dads old house. We’ll she goes into the basement to fish some of her top secret Dough out of the Freezer and low and Behold it’s not there (old age)so panic sets in and she sends me out to find some pizza dough on New Year’s Eve. We’ll i tried Three different places and Serino’s is the only one in the Addison Area that would sell me any of their dough. Thank, you Serino’s. Best Regards Alan kramer

I've been going here for years. Unfortunately I had a situation with a worker that goes by "REG R". I ordered at the driver through window since l was on lunch. From the moment I got there the worker was rude and acted like I interrupted his day. He kept referring to me as "man"! When l asked why he was being so rude and asked for the manager he lost it and told me he was going outside to try to fight me. His manager was trying to calm the guy down. Then she started making excuses for him saying "everyone has a bad day" instead of apologizing for the inconvenience. After spending 10 minutes with this ordeal l never got my sandwich. It's unfortunate that they lost a repeat customer. The rest of the staff is pretty friendly specifically the owner at the register. Unfortunately for me I won't be going there again because I don't want another confrontation or to get disrespected...
