Now, spoiler alert, the following will likely upset theChristiphobes but, to bad, so sad; accept Jesus then you'll be Glad.

Anyway, another plus for this place is they allow a local Church youth group to meet for their ministry. There were about 2doz great kids. Their YG leader lady was giving them sound instruction on Godly things. While they did occupy about 25% of the dining area, there was still ample seating.

Lastly on this subject, one of the kids came out the door and asked me what I do. I'm just a truck driver, was my reply, that I had to walk back to my truck. This young lady conveyed they said a prayer for me since I was sitting alone, and I guess the only stranger in town. I thanked her; as we all need other true believers to pray more often. Anyway, that lass has it together and their YG leader lady is to be commended for teaching those kids well.

Now, on the way back to the truck, I exuted via a different door to walk back to truck. Well, unlike a carrier pigeon, I didn't do the circle thing to get my bearings and ended up going WB on Us278. Then a fellow, Brent, a FedEx driver, thought I was another person since I had on my hiViz work shirt. He discovered I was not the friend and asked if I need a ride: heck yeah. I told him my destination at which time he informed me that I was on the wrong road. How embarrassing.

Long story short, Addison Al folks are Great Americans.

How should I start this, Roll Tide? Listen, I understand the south lives a little slower (I'm southern too, relax) but lord Jesus this area of AL is ridiculous. During my little visit to the wonderful state but not so wonderful area, all we could hear is "how great Jack's is".. We got hungry one night and decided to stop and give it a try. Lord have mercy, that was absolutely the most tasteless meal we have ever eaten. The burger was bland, didn't taste any salt or pepper/condiments and even the tomato and lettuce were tasteless.. h...I mean how do you suck the taste of a veggie? Or does the crippling customer service just suck the taste out of everything inside the store including all of the employees? Now see, I'm from a state in the south where true southern hospitality believe it or not still exists. Now I'm not arguing that all AL residents are this way but honestly, almost every single person I met had this attitude like they were sucking on a lemon while they shook hands with death. This restaurant was no exception. We got to meet a doped up manager I'm guessing that didn't know if she was gonna take an order or sign for some narcan. Took her almost 15 minutes to take an order that consisted of the exact same meals, drinks and sunshine. Every single person in the restaurant was just so darn hateful but I've noticed the locals treat each other much better than visitors. I'm guessing my accent gave it away.. but never again would I dine at this sophisticated...

I like their food; burgers, chicken, etc. Staff is very friendly. Since they opened I've only had a couple mistakes with my order. Not once have I had a completely wrong order. I generally eat there 1 - 2 times a week. Sometimes more. They lost 2 stars for 2 reasons. 1 - The fries & brown gravy have become ridiculously salty. Not sure why or what's going on but it's bad enough that I won't order either one anymore. The fries are so salty it burns when they hit your tongue....... 2 - Most of the time they are slow.
