Fourth Street Sweets — Restaurant in Adel

We had a cupcake, cookies, and a brownie on our visit. All the treats tasted good and seemed freshly made. The selection of baked treats for walk in customers is a little limited, but it is a small store with limited space so that is to be expected. I was a little surprised that none of the three workers greeted us when we came in. For the entire time we were in the store they all remained oddly silent. One employee did tell us to have a nice day when we left, and I believe that was the only thing said by any employee to anyone while we were there. Maybe we interrupted a private conversation and they were waiting on us to leave so they could resume their conversation. The coffee is Great! Great to have a little coffee/ice cream shop here in Adel…I told Cole the normal drink that I ordered at Starbucks which is the white chocolate mocha Frappuccino….. And he matched it perfectly! I only gave the store a four star rating because it would be nice if they could stay open a little later, especially since we’re going into the summer months and it would also be nice to have a couple of tables out front to sit for those who smoke!!...
