Gridiron Pizza #2 — Restaurant in Adelanto

Final update. Tried ordering online for instore pickup around 4 in the afternoon. I was informed, AFTER filling in all the information for 2 pizzas, that they weren't accepting orders for the rest of the day and I can pick up Wednesday! What a joke! This dump will go out of business soon like this.

OK. Explanation of the stars. The food is top shelf. The man who makes the pizza is amazing. I love the decor. Here is the problem, one man to operate the entire store? He delivers so the food falls behind. Yes. You read that right. He has to leave the store, orders backing up, deliver, come back, make the food, operate cash register, clean up, etc. Owners!!!! Do better!!

Update: thank you for the response. However, having a one man show left customers standing outside. The phone was ringing off the hook, so the excuse of slowness of business...

Usually when I get gridiron everything is perfect especially the wings this is my first time ordering from the Adelanto location with delivery and it was horrible first the delivery people and I say that becuase it was two people delivering for some reason the males hands were extremely dirty like he’s been touching a car or something and the pulled up almost hitting one of the employees car . the food was extremely burnt idk if I should call the chicken chicken it was so dry and burnt there was barely meat the breadsticks look like pretzels the pizza was just ok . The best thing I had from the order was the drink I gave it that many stars becuase the pizza was decent without the pizza...

Ordered two pizzas at 2:30pm. Was told it would be an hour wait for delivery. Received a call at 3:50pm (20 mins after our food was supposed to be delivered), was told because they got a 25 pizza order for a school and only have one delivery driver that either we would have to wait until 5:30 for our food or they could cancel it. So basically my only choice was to wait 3 hours from the original time we placed the order or cancel it. I've been going to Gridiron for years. I'm extremely disappointed in the level of service I received today. Now an hour and a half later I have to figure out what we're going to do for dinner. Service has consistently gotten worse.
