Update: they have rolled out a new rewards system since I initially posted this review. Ice cream was good as usual. One flurry wasn't made very well, it was one that you pick your own ingredients. My husband ordered nutter butter cookies in his. It had 1 cookie and it was still whole in the middle of the flurry. service was good even though they were very busy. Very disappointed, however, I planned to use my birthday reward and was told the reward system was down and they couldn't give me my birthday reward. While I truly love the origins of this place, a thriving small business in a small town, service is inconsistent and often I leave wondering why I come back. I return for the convenient drive thru but the trade off is the Mickey Mouse operation experience. The younger staff lacks hospitality skills. In my last 6 visits over the past few weeks, I’ve experienced unwelcoming team members taking order ms and at the window, coupled with incorrect orders. Each visit is bittersweet because I dread interacting with staff but a visit here with my parents has become a staple when I visit town. Changing this review because I was trying to be nice but this place always leaves me and my boyfriend saying, "we are never coming back here again!" This spotted cow charges us something different for the same thing each time we go there and sometimes just simply tell us they can not make it. So we go to Twin Pines in Tecumseh instead. They always shew people away in the drive thru before they close and are never nice at all, always have sour faces.
