I'm changing my review to reflect the growing need for attention at this establishment. I do like it here, but there are glaring issues that are getting worse. They seem to be hiring and training people, but never seem to utilize their full staff properly. NOBODY watches the counter, and there will be lines of people just waiting for someone to notice. They don't even seem to have enough people to keep the place clean anymore, on the customer side or the kitchen.
Most of the regular workers are terrific, the manager too, and there's one girl there who just has the best smile. But there's this one woman who always seems to be working drive through who never smiles or acts friendly, who feels like she has a stick up her butt every time. EVERY time. It gets hard to ignore.
I can't blame any of them for not being as happy as they could be, corporate seems to be expecting them to run on a skeleton crew, of maybe 2-3 for the whole thing that I can see. That isn't fair, to them or the customers. I can't tell you how often I've seen PEOPLE WALK OUT instead of waiting to be noticed...
Finally, something is going on with the online availability. It seems like they'll turn off some menu items and then forget to reactivate them so people can actually order them. I know it's local, too, because the bad Taco Bell on the other side of town will still have them available.
I've also been getting a LOT of STALE food lately.
I like this location, I don't want to see it turn into South Main. I'm sure many issues listed by myself and others here are corporate decisions, based on my own experience in customer service. But this...
Read moreThis is only the fourth or fifth time I have ordered food at this particular Taco Bell location in the past year. I've never had a bad experience there per say, I was just not impressed in the slightest. And this visit was kinda disappointing. I was in line for almost seven minutes before I was able to even move up in line, and place my order. They were VERY busy at this time and location. Four vehicles were ahead of me at this time. After I gave my order and got my total, I was in line for twelve more minutes before moving on to the second window. The first drive through window was closed. After I paid for my food, I was handed my drink. I waited for another six minutes before they handed me my food. The worker apologized to me saying "I'm really sorry it's taking so long, mamm." I pulled away twenty five minutes after first pulling into the parking lot. I ordered four food items and a drink. Drink was correct and very cold. Two food items were fairly hot and you could tell they were freshly made. 😋 One item was grilled and was way overdone. It was fairly close to burnt but not black. The twelve pack of cinnabons was a complete disappointment. They were VERY cold, almost like the centers were partially frozen? And there was only eight cinnabons in the container. All in All the staff were friendly and helpful, food was a bummer and the wait time was obviously a bit much. I was playing around with the Taco Bell App while I...
Read moreWell, the Build Your Own Cravings Box (two main items, one side, one medium drink) went from $5.99 earlier this week to $8.99. There is no way in hell I'm paying $9 for such a small amount of food, ESPECIALLY since you guys had that Classics Box (three main items, one side, one medium drink) for only $5 this past summer. Sure, the Classic Box was a limited time thing, but the BYOCB is a permanent thing that shouldn't have gone $3 for no reason.
The people working at this store are very sweet lovey people, and I don't blame them for this at all.
But the people that own this Franchise are money hungry jerks with a price hike like this.
Wendy's still has their 4 for $4 if you use their app, and you can upgrade the drink to a medium for like $.30, so you can go there and get the same amount of food for literally less than half of the new BYOCB prices. $4.30 vs $8.99. If I only have $10 left in my pocket for the week, I will definitely NOT be going to...
