Carne Mía Restaurant — Restaurant in Aguada

My first visit, I'm not sure if it was that I was really hungry or if the chef made one of the best filet mignon I've ever had.

I came here for an early birthday celebration with family. Plus, I came back on my birthday as well. These turned out to be really great meals. I believe that anything that's bacon wrap will taste better. They do say bacon makes everything taste better. In this case, it is true. I always like steak sauce with it, but after I tried it, I noticed I didn't need it. It was so good in flavor that I couldn't believe how much I was enjoying this.

On my second visit, I had the red snapper. It was good but not as good as the filet mignon. I will be back again to try more of the steak choices they have.

Hands down the best Chuleta Kan-Kan on the island.

I’ve eaten at a lot of places across Puerto Rico, and Carne Mia in Aguada continues to blow me away. On my most recent visit, I had the grilled octopus and the Chuleta Kan-Kan, both were absolutely incredible.

The octopus had that perfect charred flavor, super tender with just the right bite,easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. And the pork? Let’s just say the Chuleta Kan-Kan here is in a league of its own. Crispy outside, juicy inside, and seasoned beautifully—it’s everything you want in a Kan-Kan and then some. I’ve tasted Kan-Kans from east to west on the island, and the verdict remains: Carne Mia still serves the best Chuleta Kan-Kan in Puerto Rico. Period.

Service is always great, the portions are generous, and the food is consistently excellent. If you're anywhere near Aguada, this spot is a must.

First time visiting with my wife and daughter. I heard it has good food. The seating area is comfortable and neat. They served us plaintain soup as a starter, which was tasty. I ordered for my entrée a pork chop (chuleta Kan Kan), my wife ordered a stuffed pork chop with steak and my daughter ordered fish. My pork chop was tasty with crispy rind on the side and a nice size. My wife's stuffed chop had a tasty steak filling, but she noticed that the pork chop had parts not fully cooked (a no no when it comes to pork). My daughter liked her meal. I would rate the food good. The service was very good, friendly waitress. The prices are higher than I expected. Not a place for everyone.
