Chef Lorenzo Restaurant — Restaurant in Aguadilla

I used to really like this place until my last experience. Previously my plate always had asparagus among the mixed vegetables. I tried to question the waitress about not having them this time. She kept pointing to the green beans and asking, "two is not enough?" I figured out she didn't know was asparagus was so I showed her a picture of it and said there is none of that on my plate. She said okay. Some time later she returned with a side of vegetables with asparagus in it. I thought that they decided to make it up to me by giving me more than just asparagus. When I got the bill I was charged for a side of vegetables. I explained what happened and that I did not order a side of vegetables. The waiter's reply was, "but you consumed them." Arrrrrrr! Then I explained that I thought the restaurant was making it up to me and I wasn't paying for them. He just kept saying that I consumed them so I must pay for them. I didn't leave the restaurant until they took it off my bill.

All the original vegetables and the side of vegetables were COLD except for the asparagus. That's another reason why I will probably not eat...

After a disappointment in a restaurant nearby, we called Chef Lorenzo's restaurant and we ordered. No more than 15 minutes sitting and our food was right in front of us. Outstanding service.

The food itself was impressive, and was simply perfect and delicious. Try out their stuffed chicken breast, it's actually superior to most places in the area.

Chef Lorenzo's restaurant is a must visit if you're in Aguadilla.

Also, if you have a craving that's not on the menu, you can ask him if he's willing to make it for you and he often does.

Food here is terrible. Drinks are good, half the waitstaff are friendly. Mofongo tasted sour, octopus smelled fishy. Steak was drastically undercooked. Rice and beans were good the first time I ate there. Thought I’d give them a chance, second time I had the Red Snapper fillet it also smelled fishy and was burnt. Rice was undercooked and beans tasted sour. Don’t waste your time or money here. I will never go back. Fresh seafood should never smell fishy. Server told me they had “fresh” salmon and red snapper that day. I know now she was pushing the fish...
