[EDIT] The restaurant has now moved to a new location that offers better accessibility and a greater more inviting atmosphere that includes a small bar and both indoor (recommended) and outdoor dining; food remains of top quality and most importantly the place now feels like a proper restaurant with servers and bartenders all of which are proffessional and friendly. Only downside would be with the location itself being quite inaccessible through other modes of transportation that don't involve driving a car, but that's more of a problem with the local infrastructure than with the place itself.
Overall, the new location offers a much better quality dine in experience in an atmosphere that is sure to keep you coming back to the place for more.
[ORIGINAL REVIEW, OUTDATED] Visit this place every once in a while and the food never disappoints. The atmoshere is a little dreary and the place is small. Service resembles what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant (everything is over the counter) and if I'm honest, the best way to enjoy your sushi is by taking it home. Orders take some time to prepare so it's best to order in advance by calling. Their kitchen is very clean with excellent hygiene standards. Menu is a little large and is also slightly incoherent. They are very accomodating to those who prefer to have their protein cooked instead of raw and have a good range of sauces to choose from for your sushi.
In the end, I'd recommend this place for anyone who loves sushi and in general japanese food or for those who are looking and willing to try something different to the norm. Visited three times now and they never disappoint with food that is a definite 9/10, I will be making a return, no doubt.
Ps. Just please fix and lighten up the place to make it more appealing to those...
Read moreI recently dined at Run Sushi Run with a group of 11, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant not appearing overly busy, the service was incredibly slow.
We arrived at 7:30 PM, and it took 45 minutes just to receive our appetizer. After that, our entrees were brought out inconsistently, with some people receiving their meals significantly earlier than others. The last person in our group didnât get their food until 9:30 PMâtwo full hours after we arrived.
On a positive note, our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive, but it was clear that the kitchen simply couldnât keep up with the demands. While the food itself was decent, the long wait times made it difficult to enjoy the experience.
If youâre dining here with a large group, be prepared for a frustratingly long wait. Unless they improve their kitchen efficiency, I canât recommend this spot for anything other than a quick meal for a...
Read moreFrom this day forward âYour food will be ready in 35 minutesâ will be placed as one of the top 3 biggest lies Iâve been told in my lifetime. It is fascinating how many complains they have received of slow service and that the staff has made an effort to somehow make it slower. It appears that 35 minutes is the very specific timeframe they give out to all their customers despite the time it actually takes them to prepare the food, judging by the other reviews and my personal experience. 35 minutes actually means an hour and 35 minutes; take this into consideration if you ever have the misfortune of ordering from this establishment.
