Loved my visit to the Turuleka in every aspect. Food was so delicious and a different concept that I had not experience before yet LOVED. I enjoyed the papas locas with a refreshing lemonade while my husband enjoyed waffle with poutine sauce, chicken, and cheese. My husband being Canadian gave the stamp of approval to the delicious poutine sauce! If you are in Isabela or close-by, do not miss visiting this food spot. Turuleka is an absolute gem! The owner is incredibly sweet and welcoming—she truly cooks with love, and you can taste it in every bite. I tried the “Pati Caliente” but swapped the waffle for wedge fries, and wow… perfection. The food came out quickly, and everything was packed with flavor.

The spicy sauce is AMAZING, with fresh cilantro and lime giving it the perfect finishing touch. And that African sauce? No joke—it brings the heat in the best way possible. Beyond the delicious food, the service was even better. The owner seems genuinely delighted to serve each guest, and that warmth makes the whole experience unforgettable.

My son and I also loved the fun little jingle with the restaurant’s name—it made the moment extra special. I’m definitely coming back. Great food, but even better service. Highly recommended!

¡Turuleka es una verdadera joya! La dueña es increíblemente dulce y acogedora—de verdad cocina con amor, y eso se nota en cada bocado. Probé el “Pati Caliente” pero lo pedí con papas gajo en vez del waffle, y quedó espectacular. La comida salió rápido y llena de sabor.

La salsa picante es ¡INCREÍBLE! El cilantro fresco y el limón le dieron el toque perfecto. Y esa salsa africana… no es juego, tiene un picor delicioso. Más allá de la comida, el servicio fue aún mejor. La dueña realmente se nota feliz de atender a cada cliente, y esa calidez hace que la experiencia sea inolvidable.
