Blue Top Grill — Restaurant in Aiken County

Got their round 6 o'clock , tables weren't whipped off ,food was still on multiple tables after customers had eaten ; ordered our food (family of 4) .food took almost an hour . The waitress didnt tell us what extra stuff cost us. Then two couples came in 20 minutes after we did but they got there food before us and half the table of 4 ordered what we did but they got there food before us! HOW?! The people behind the counter were eating and picking food w there hands . I seen a woman with her bare hands pick stuff out of okra basket of a customers with no gloves and she was going back-and-forth to the counter and the kitchen. I seen the cook ( 1 of 2 back there) clean dishes and the go cook food not wishing there hands. Grabbing plates and walking them out after touching handling food (never w gloves on by the way) then heading back to cook food not washing. First time there and last time there plus our bill didnt even add up like it was...

If you're visiting, don't sleep on the Blue Top Grill. You're not going to find any place like this, anywhere. If you distilled home made, southern diner, and local, over proofed it, and then Large Hadron Collider smashed that into a food experience - you'd get Blue Top.

I had the BLT with Slaw. It was exactly that. No weird spices, no variation on a theme, no exotic bread, no fancy production style. Just, good. And they have that awesome crushed ice you can't seem to find in this day and age of clear icecubeness.

If you're not from here, keep in mind, they speak southern, move at the speed of however they want. They don't have vegetables on Wednesdays. They have both types of tea. Everything is original. ...

That burger was so good and the lady was nice. Fries were okay. But it is in a very tight area. There is limited parking even looks limited in the back of the restaurant. Since it is such a popular restaurant it may be a good idea to open another location or move. I do get unclean vibes. Thank GOD I didn't see anything but after reading the other reviews (after getting and eating my food) I'm sure they are just in there doing whatever they want to do. I prayed over it and kept it pushing. Not trying to give anyone the benefit of the doubt because if you should be clean then you should be clean especially when dealing with food.
