Heard good things on a number of occasions. Food was brought to try. It was scrumptious!

Had the pleasure to enjoy ox tails with peas and rice with its gravy in top, the plantains, and cabbage all with oxtail gravy within as the best.

Estrivich fish by my adding peas and rice to it and its juices and its gravy. Was told brown stew chicken was "so good" as it was said exactly.

Admittedly, it was some of the best eaten despite having been to Jamaica and had some good foods. The ox tails meal all had a creamy delight unlike the others tasted before elsewhere.

Upon visiting complements of an Saturday adventure of a great importance, we found the place in record time.

The owner was all welcoming and kind. She had such a warm nature. Noticed a young lady and her baby there who had traveled from SC towns coming the distance to enjoy also since still pregnant and her baby wasnt born and now appearing maybe one or two years old still enjoying as she ate. Her mother said she eats all the vegetables fruit and so on.

The electric wheelchair fit comfortly in the space as we sat in and ate. As there was two eating tables and plenty of room for the constant flow of take - out patrons.

On a hot day outside the place was cool and pleasant in temperature. I was told this hidden Graniteville, SC gem had once been in Aiken SC....

UPDATE: 2/25/23: LORD!! IT....GOT...BETTER! SEE MOST RECENT PICTURE! THE TASTES ARE GREAT! MY FAVORITE SPOT FOR OXTAILS! WORTH THE WAIT.

THE BELOW COMMENTS WERE FROM 4 YEARS AGO. Please.....don't.....change....LOL. I had been craving some "soul food" for a long while. I'm originally from Savannah, so I knew the spots back home for where to go...Not so much here in the CSRA. I visited a couple of places in Augusta and came away with "so so" satisfaction. I did a quick Google Search and decided to visit the first place that was near enough to eat and travel back in a timely manner. What I stumbled upon was a GEM! From the time I entered the place, I knew I was in the right place. The smells alone were gratifying. I ordered the oxtails.....Lord...full boned oxtails! Not those cross sections that I had been getting at a few other spots. They were amazing. I ate the dinner right there (only a few seats in this place, so plan to pickup and eat out). I ordered another round for the road! :)...

I am from North Jersey and I have traveled to the Caribbean several times. I was in the mood for my favorite comfort food and I googled this place since it was 10 minutes away. This is the BEST Jamaican food I ever had. I ordered oxtails curry shrimp jerk chicken cabbage rice and peas plantains and beef patties. The food was excellent. Especially the oxtails. Im mad I didnt order that for myself but its for my boyfriend. I wanted to try a bunch of everything anyway. The owner was SUPER nice and the facility was VERY clean. They were very prompt they didnt have me waiting forever and everything was FRESH HOT and DELICIOUS. They wont be able to get rid of me for the oxtails alone. I HIGHLY reccomend this place! Im so glad I found it and took a chance. And they take credit card 😊 pps they also have a wonderful array of Jamaican drinks. I ordered 2 ginger bears and i wish i...

It’s a black owned restaurant so I wanted to support however the sign said Caribbean and American food I ordered a veggie plate.Iin Jamaica a veggie plate is rice & peas With a variety of other sides. The cabbage was a big cut I’m not use to that it wasn’t rice & peas it was rice with beans. I asked for a gravy but not a brown gravy I said like a Jamaican brown stew gravy I got a light brown gravy with no onions or no bell peppers no mushrooms just plain over the rice. My opinion they need to take off the Caribbean on the sign and leave it as American restaurant no disrespect I did eat the food. I asked for a drink I did not get it and they were out of a lot of the things that’s on the menu. The food was tasty it just was not Caribbean food taste

Time management is horrible. I ordered my food online an hour before I got there. And it was still almost 30 mins and the food that I ordered still wasn't made yet. So they had to substitute my food for something else and it looks like a smaller portion than anticipated. The curry chicken looks very dry and chicken does look very dry. To response below. I never got my brown stew chicken because it would have been an extra 20 mins. So in substitution curry chicken was offered and so I agreed. I agreed because time constraints were not in my favor but it had already been an hour since I ordered my food. Thank you for your response, but this was my experience.
