Made this stop after stopping for a pit stop off I-20. Looking at the reviews, I MUST stop. There were lots of 5⭐️’s & a few 1-⭐️’s. After reading the comments, it definitely drove me there. This is definitely a “Country Coffeehouse”. Mounted Elk head, lots of car tags, AND a prayer board!!! They definitely did not give off hateful vibes. I got the: “Dragon Honey” Honey, Caramel, & Cayenne Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Spicy, BUT Delish! -if you like Honey) Friendliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Friendly! Barista made a recommendation & cut up with me. Lots of smiles) Ambiance: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Solo building w/ an upstairs for seating. Several people hanging out inside the “country coffeehouse” Atmosphere was welcoming. Outside covered seating which always has its perks) Parking: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Plenty!!)

Continues to be a great place to visit when I’m in the area. I guess people are review bombing because it is military and first responder theme? That’s crazy! I love this place! It was my favorite coffee shop to go to when I was in school at Ft Gordon several years ago. I got a chance to drive down to the area again today and made sure to make a pit stop here. Picked up a few bags of coffee and tried their Oreo cake. It was delicious!

Great local coffee roastery. The atmosphere is super positive and the coffee is great. Stop in here on my way to Bucksnort Cigar store. The critics or bots who rate 1 star don't share their reasons. Why not provide a reason the service, food and atmosphere see 1 star? We don't see it.

Normally we like the coffee here (the environment is definitely a bit offputting but it’s the closest coffee shop to my house) but my poor mother who has SEVERE stomach issues was served a hot Carolina which we get all the time with cayenne pepper on top of it!! I don’t know how they mixed up cinnamon and cayenne pepper but it made my mother super sick and her stomach was hurting all day. When she called up there to ask what happened and why they had put cayenne in her coffee, they were rude to her :( super disappointed! They need to be careful with these spices as there are people like my mom who have health issues related to her stomach and what...

Last two winters when we snow birded here in the Augusta area I never found a good roaster. I'm spoiled by my Vermont roaster where I get my favorite, Italian roast. The baristas at Stone called their boss, the Roaster, to get his recommendation for the closet coffee he had to an Italian roast. Although I was ready to purchase their darkest roast, he recommended his Carbon blend, a medium roast instead. He was right. It's pretty darn good! His baristas ground the beans coarsely for a French press and I had a pot when I got back to the Airbnb. Can not recommend them highly enough. I've found my SC...
