As a former business owner / entrepreneur the food/ drink is consistent, and everyone who actually busts their ass is in my opinion fantastic. However the store is only open till 5:00 and people want to have dessert after work or he and she is just going to work and wants a couple donuts to go in or maybe a croissant sandwich . Hire supervision in a blue shirt keeps on messing with the schedules and puts two people on a Friday morning during speed after all the customers just got their paychecks. The people that are running this operation have no idea what a New York Buffalo New York operation is and a lot of these people should be eliminated from this store location that sits by itself and receives no assistance from corporate, no assistance from the higher supervisors, and no assistance from those that are fixing or should be fixing the store, maintenance!. The absolute lack of support from higher supervision and corporate is phenomenally lacking and you even have higher supervisors that don't want to wear a visor or put on a proper uniform and allow their hair to fly all over the donuts or don't even say hello or goodbye to the customers that are paying their paychecks. There is no ability to buy decaf K-Cups or coffee, the tea is lacking there are no specialty items to buy , there's about half the product that there should be and the replacement of things that are needed is lacking 100% at best . The only reason that this location is successful is due to the general manager Crystal Fritz, her supervisor Joel and Molly, and wonderful workers like Tina and Clarissa and Autumn and Cartier. It is in my New York Buffalo New York entrepreneurial business ownership spirit that all of corporate needs to look at the people that are running this operation above Crystal Fritz and Fire these people that are above Crystal Fritz. This is Tim Hortons this is not a laxie daisy Dunkin' Donuts coffee shop around the corner run by a bunch of people that don't care. I have been going to Tim Hortons for over 20 years I know some of the biggest names in Tim Hortons, I also know that this corporation that this Umbrella Corporation is under runs under Warren Buffett. I don't believe that Warren Buffett would want to come to this location to find out that all of these things are actually happening. Not saying that Warren Buffett is a great person, but he is a entrepreneur/ business owner. This is my opinion I hope that Tim Hortons gets wind of this information because we also know that it's not the owner responding to these statements or comments. Due to the artificial intelligent response or very poor response let's take this a step further. All the employees are underpaid by at least $2.50 per hour and push to meet certain criteria for a very poor wage. A wage that nobody can live on and this is not the Tim Hortons way. Not in buffalo, not in new york, not in canada, and not in Pennsylvania. People that work there work very hard and deserve better treatment and better benefits then what is being given. You get what you pay for . My guess is for tax write-off purposes the corporation is crying the Blues yet probably exceeds at least 2.7 million per year. Maybe Tim Hortons will eventually read this review and understand the name that this and many other local Ohio locations are doing to the name. Tim Hortons has a standard. My experience at the actual location has been actually very decent and again if it were not for the people that work inside the store and the general manager I would not go to that store. Because of them I spend between $250 to $500 per month and I'm probably going to stop until Tim Hortons decides to get rid of certain people in the higher up ranks and start paying their employees what they deserve. But my experience has been fantastic with the people inside the store and with...
Read moreI am making this review in the hopes that the employee that was working this morning in the front gets some recognition and perhaps a raise. He deserves it.
I went in to pick up an Uber Eats order on 6/2/24.The lobby was full of people waiting and the drive thru line was long. There were three people working. The manager, an employee on the drive thru and a guy working the front. The guy in the front was literally doing the job of at least three people. He was doing front cash, making drinks and expediting. He was honestly doing an excellent job but he could not keep up with the demand. Totally not his fault. If whoever is in charge of his pay sees this, he deserves a raise. I ended up leaving without the order because I waited 40 minutes and I’m trying to make money and made nothing that entire time. Again I do not blame him.
Now let’s talk about the manager. She was in the back screaming and slamming stuff saying she can’t get off the sandwich station and just being very unprofessional and yelling. Not what a manger should be doing with customers there. Employees started showing up and literally nothing in the front changed. There were three people in the kitchen now and she just disappeared out back instead of helping that guy who was struggling to get caught up. Again, that is not what a manager does.
Then to make matters worse a young girl finally does come up front and doesn’t even help him. She starts telling him this and that and bossing him around and she is not management. The only person that tried to help him was a guy who made a few drinks for him but I believe it was the drive thru worker so he could only do so much.
Times are tough. Everyone is short staffed and underpaid. However, the manager should have shut down mobile ordering or closed the lobby so it was drive thru only if she didn’t have enough employees. She needs retrained on running a shift because she does not know what she is doing.
Bottom line is give that guy a raise or hire more people. I wish I would have gotten his name but the date should tell you who was working...
Read moreI tried this location twice before posting this review. The first experience, I noticed TH and wanted to try it for the first time. I went through the drivethrough around 3pm I gave my order for a large iced vanilla coffee with cream and sugar. The woman taking my order was rather rude and rushing me through (there were no other cars behind me). Once at the window, there was zero greeting, and the service was just rude. Upon receiving the coffee, it was subpar for what I paid for. The coffee used had been obviously in the pot or holding container for way too long (it was very bitter). Also, I didn't catch any vanilla flavoring. I ended up throwing the drink away after returning home.
Second time was this morning 2/4/23. Around 11am me and partner ordered through doordash. Order arrived late (due to tim hortons taking over 30 minutes to even confirm the order). This was fine, but my partner has a pork allergy. We ordered two sandwiches, one with a pork product and one specifically without. Receiving the order my partner bit into his sandwich that wasn't supposed to have pork on it (clearly we know where this is going). It had pork on it! The sandwich had to be given to me because the allergy is also to any grease. For the record, this sandwich was the ONLY change we made to anything we ordered. Fine. Right? Call the store, get the issue sorted out. Nope. We've called the location 4 separate times, waiting for anyone to pick up, only to have the phone picked up and immediately ended on the other end.
The service here is ridiculously immature and rude. It's not worth it to try Tim hortons at this location. Judging from the rest of the reviews at this location, I'm guessing others would agree with...
