We were so excited to visit again, thinking it was going to be as great as the old venue. Seafood gumbo $5.95 not a bad price for a cup, only the Seafood gumbo was nothing but sausage and rice with a little gravy. I ordered the "Seafood" gumbo because I don't eat meat and to my surprise there was no Seafood in the "Seafood" gumbo. I ordered the hot peel and eat shrimp, from the time the waitress rest it in front of us, we were gagging from the smell, it was horrible, it smelled like sewage. When we asked her to smell it, her facial expression was disgusted but lol she said "oh it could just be the old bay seasoning that is smelling" (i hope they pay her well enough to lie) it was so bad, my friend peeled his and could not bring himself to eat it, I tried like 2 before I wanted to vomit all over. The oysters were good though and my friend had the po boy which he said was ok. The new owner heard us talking about the bad smelling shrimp and totally ignored us. It was so bad I washed my hands twice and used hand sanitizer, squeezed lemon on my hands and my friend and I drove back home with the windows down because we still was smelling the shrimp. I could not wait to reach home to brush my teeth. I even had a shot of Jameson while we were still there to see if that would help get the bad taste out of my mouth but it did not. We still paid our full tab and tipped the bartender Kacey really well because other than the disgusting food, she was super nice. We used to frequent the old spot at least 1 time a week, enjoyed the food and always tipped really well (Teresa from the old location can vouch for this) but this was our 1st and last time going to this new location. I'm on no way a picky eater and from my Google reviews, you'll see I love food and dine out a lot, this was by far the worst food I have ever had since moving to Alabama a year and a half ago. Praying we...

January 2020 Went with a friend to meet a fee others for dinner and listen to the band. She knows the singer in band. I'm not a seafood lover or eater. 🙃 I wasn't exactly excited to go. However glad she got me out of the house. (Widowed after 33yrs married so I've been really secluded in my house) I asked waitress who was very helpful guiding me on what to eat out of the small selection. I got chicken alfredo & fried okra. NO complaints about the food. Its a bit too dark inside to me.... like the building is feeling depressed. It would be more inviting if it was prepped up & cheerful to me. They where not a lot of people coming to eat or stay for the band. My food was delicious! We sat in half booth & half chair seating. I dont know why anyone puts a LonG curved booth seat big enough for probably 8 avg size folks. I don't even like sitting so close to folks & if you have to go to bathroom EverYone has to get out to let you out & that distraction will stop their conversation or eating. But I made sure i was on end. But restaurant is all tables & chairs that's only booth. Food the others ate seemed to be good nobody complained and they got fried crab claws & fish. I took home a huge plate i had left over. I don't think you'll be disappointed in your food & would reccomend to go & try it out. Don't know how often they have bands but it was a great band & it was nice to go somewhere you can eat, drink, dance. We need MORE like this set up. Our waitress was nice but we had to wave her down for anything we needed like refills, sauce, silverware etc.. The band was GREAT! It was middle age guys singing music I grew up with like 70's 80's & other popular songs. Go try it out...

We had a new waitress she was so sweet & apologetic about our extensive wait time (my words not hers)we were a table of 5/3adults & 2 children our order as very simple kids had grilled cheese/fries shrimp platter/fish tacos/side salad/rice …everything came out a a different time time with long waits in between the fish tacos never cameout we had to ask about them they ask would we like for the to go “yes plz” they bring them out 10 mins later on a plate also with no fries that came with it we then had to ask for a to go box & for that item to be removed from our bill bc that person never got to eat with our table now all of this ask back & forth was not with our “new hire waitress” it was with others that work there bc they had our girl running from her inside tables & to outside tables as well we felt like they could have stepped up & helped her more …btw the outside patio was our first choice for sitting but with their new “roll doors” if the AC is on out there & doors are down closed up they still consider it outdoor patio so they allow smoking it was AWFUL we said no thank you inside plz….the food was ok it definitely has been better in the past….it was our anniversary & we wanted to spend it with family & a relaxing dinner🤷‍♀️ in the end we enjoyed being with our family….I’m sure we will go back everyone has there off days….we may...

This place is a small but good place to eat! It’s really easy to pass when driving by but definitely a place you should stop! My husband and i have been passing this place for years and decided to stop on a Friday night and eat here. It was pretty busy around 7pm. This place has a lot of regulars from what i can tell. The server was on her first day and did pretty good! I started out with a side salad. The onions, and tomatoes were so yummy and fresh. The tomatoes were sweet and the dressings were delicious! My husband got the seafood platter that had a little bit of everything. His favorite were the jumbo shrimp. I got the shrimp platter with fried okra and coleslaw. The Cole slaw was not my favorite but everything else was really good, including their sauces. My husband loves the cocktail sauce and i enjoyed the tartar sauce. For the amount of food and quality of food, it’s definitely worth it! I believe they had an outside deck for people to sit on and possibly live music. We both recommended this place to our family and friends and will be back soon with everyone!

The food was okay. There's nothing to brag about. We ordered the half shrimp and Oyster poboy, steak quesadilla, and fried shrimp boat. We didn't get Oyster on the half shell. They seemed a little more expensive than what I'm used to. They also charged $3.25 for a kids lemonade in a small cup. He only took two sips out of it. The kids' beverages are the same price as the adult size beverages. Can't say I will recommend this place. I'm from the Gulf Coast, so I know my seafood. This wasn't it. They also charge a credit card fee. Our server was nice. :)

Nice little spot in town. I’ve seen it multiple times driving by and have finally decided to stop by. The service was great. Every one was super nice. We had an order of oysters that came out very quickly. For my entree, I ordered the fried oysters and they were delicious! I don’t know what kind of batter the oysters are fried in, but it was very good. The fries were nice and crispy as well. When you get in, the restaurant looks small but there’s more seating in the back as well.
