We had a very large group , about 25. First I'll start off by saying our waitress was great, she came back to the table twice to ask if we were ready to order and I initially thought it was going to turn into her trying to rush asking but after the second time she just told us to let her know when we were ready. Getting our order proved to be a bit hectic which is a little expected with a large group , they short of auctioned our food off until whoever ordered heard their order. A better tactic might have been to write the table number on the ticket. I suppose it was a cook that came out to help her auction the food off and he didn't bother hiding how annoyed he was. They ramble we sat at had a HUGE imbalance but by the time we got there there were no other tables to exchange with. As much as they charge for food youd think they could afford to take one small table away, also theres no way who ever lines our tables up didnt know, you barely brushed it and it would almost tip over in either direction, another guest spilled his drink and I splashed mine on my partner n me like twice just trying to eat with out rocking. The food was OK...the lemon pepper wings were whole wings cooked perfectly, the blue cheese was good tastes house made, the mac and cheese was ridiculously disappointing, it tasted like box mac and over priced for the portion and quality, the pulled pork tasted dry and not enough sauce to taste better, the fries tasted over cooked , the catfish nuggets were good. The bathroom was clean. The "free entertainment " was great, a band played and covered some wel known songs. The entertainment you pay a cover charge for was OK . she seemed to get better as the night went on. I really didnt like the policy on minimum purchase. We had to spend a minimum of 25 but drinks didnt count? Idk maybe something to do about tax on liquor but I'm not a business owner idk I just know I mainly didnt like it cause the food didnt match the prices and the drinks were SO watered down and over priced we should have just gotten a fountain drink . I dont drink a lot so it usually only takes a glass of wine or a shot and a half for me to know alcohol is in the drink but when I say Nothing was in that glass. All in all I wouldn't revisit, not a horrible experience but not worth the money or...
Read moreThe service here is truly unacceptable. We were a party of eight on a Saturday night. Once we were seated it went down hill from there.
*once seated after a twenty minute wait the men in the crew went to the bar to get our drinks to include water(a server never came and greeted us or anything) *once we had our drinks it was roughly another twenty minute wait when the server finally came, still no introduction or apology for the wait-she went straight to “y’all ready to order” *everyone placed their orders to include two orders of spinach dip to get something on our stomachs as we were all very hungry and had been there for close to an hour now and they both were completely different… -one was topped with Parmesan cheese, paprika, and parsley with a spoon and the other has no toppings and as much grease as dip in the bowl it took about forty minutes for the food to come out as we had a party of eight and it was a Saturday night *the gumbo was “warm” and had a weird aftertaste…it was NOT edible…even had no a taste of cinnamon which was weird in itself *the pork chops were fried extremely hard and the size of the bottle rim of the water cup *the mac and cheese was nothing less than boiled pasta and cheese sauce *the Caesar salad croutons were old and had no crunch, chicken was colder than the actual romaine on the salad *and one of our guest never got ANY of his food…but the kicker is the server brought the bill as if everyone was served!! *we had several missing side dishes, green beans, steamed veggies, and lima beans *no manager, floor lead or anything even touched the tables throughout our evening to see how everyone was doing
Needless to say we will visit the casino again but never the restaurant itself. It was a complete disappointment for this group of first timers. The live entertainment was the only positive thing about this establishment. And spare the automatic message, as in all your other reviews it’s repetitive and...
Read morevisited this location on 3/2/19 four adults one child. From where I was standing I could see tables available however we waited in line 15 min to be seated. $7 cover charge per person so $35. We received 6 ounce clear cup not regular 12 ounce cups you normally receive when dinning. A lid was requested for the child we were told they don't get many children in the restauranit and the cup we received can be taken out of restaurant in the casino. My friend stated we are not visiting the casino with a child but we did not receive a lid. She proceeds to take order she stated we had old menus chicken fried chicken I wanted was not served any more. Appetizer fried pickles came put 30 minutes later. The waiter had not returned to the table since bringing drinks out. Another 40 minutes later food came out my pork chop dinner was missing. I stop a waiter to advised I have not received my food and we requested a manager. Manager comer very nonchalant ask what's wrong explained I have not received the pork chop dinner I order. He stayed "I got you". He did bring out a lid for the child. The waiter finally returned clueless. She proceeds to the kitchen and returns with meal. The pork chop dinners was hot and really good however I had waited so long to receive the food needless to say I was NOT happy. The manager took only $10 off my dinner. I don't remember receiving an apology from waiter or manager. After we requested the check and pay bill the waiter comes back to say she has to swipe the card again she forgot to add the gratuity. Check total $102. Keep in mind we did not receive any refills or napkins with our food. Needless to say I was livid my boyfriend just wanted to pay and get hell out of there. By far the worst service I have ever ...
